@Jake Mercury actually journalists and interviewers have an ethics system which involves asking questions that are in GOOD TASTE. this means NO offensive questions. specifically, you shouldn’t ask the interviewee “so you have daddy issues right? your father left you?” because it is EXTREMELY offensive and rude. it is not a question that is in good taste. and even if he is popular, it doesn’t mean he deserves his popularity. the way he gets his information is improper and upsetting and to me it just seems like he is a terrible person. he is clearly sexist or a womanizer for some of those questions he asked so i personally believe that he should be fired and i’m sure a whole lot of people agree with me.

THANK YOU for making this video. Obviously Harry’s people told him the kind of “person” (I was going to say vermin but it was too soon) Stern is. I’m a clinical psychologist and I was appalled to listen about 90% of his questions. You say it right, in a nutshell and abusing of his authority figure (age, it’s his show), said one after another questions that were basically attacks to Harry’s preconscious, subconscious and identity.
All the guys of the band adore Harry, are good friends and you can see the uneasiness creeping around without knowing what to do. Mitch is clearly angry, I thought he was going to stand up and do something.
Harry had three things that helped him fly over this toxic place. One, of course, many years of media training that he thankfully absorbed. Two, he’s a very intelligent man, very. His answers usually were aha, hmmm, no. It became difficult when asked about his parents but managed to move on. Third, his mother. Smart woman, great education, love, values and full acceptance of who Harry was and is up to now. That’s what counts.
Only one good thing came from this interview and was a fabulous cover of Peter Gabriel’s Sledgehammer.
