Hi Jake! I like ur response! So transparent. The music is so ephemeral. Makes me think of the book of Revelation. The triumph over death. Also, I hear the lyrics as a prayer that Jesus might pray to the Father for the strength to fulfill His mission "..destined to death 'till You lead me out" (...the Resurrection) "Past, present, future" (the great " I AM ") Spirit lead Me to the water..." Jesus' baptism by John ....."and the Spirit descended on Him like a dove"...Just my thoughts. I hope you don't mind. But it excites me to hear it from this perspective. And the last chord reminds me of the classical term 'swell' It gives me chills when I hear it! Thanks for another new song for me!🕊
I used not be a huge fan of his vocals but honestly once i heard enough of his music I kinda realized I wouldn’t want anyone else to sing it. He is very raw and pours out his emotions in his music and lyrics.

Really like the song's lyrics... not so much the way the artist sang it. I personally didn't care for his falsetto.
