- I finally managed to make up for the failed PIA 777 video. I managed to catch AP-BGZ leaving for Islamabad and this time I caught the takeoff roll. Truth be told, I'm very happy that I was able to make up for a lost opportunity and I hope you are to.

POLITICAL APPOINTMENTS AND FRAUDULANT DOCUMENTS ARE THE REASON FOR ITS FAILURE PLUS SOME OF THE STAFF WERE VERY ARROGANT KNOWING THAT THEY WERE SUPPORTED BY POLOTICIANS.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,

Pia destroyed by our leaders
Couldn't be more true which is why privatization is the only thing that can save them really. Check out my videos regarding that topic.
Biman has turned round and there is a big market for Pakistan so with privitisation PIA can be rescued but there has to be a culture change in the management of the airline and in time fleet renewal to replace the B777 (an excellent plane but PIA will need the 787 or A350 in a few years' time)
@nickbiskinis4854 I've been pushing for PIA to get the Dreamliner, 777X, and A320neo for operations
The most immediate challenge is for PIA to sort out its pilot licensing/rating system to satisfy European aviation authorities. If successful this will allow PIA to serve the large Pakistani communities in the UK plus markets in France/Italy (PIA also served Athens at one point). In terms of privatisation are there local investors willing to take it on or would PIA merge with a private airline? PIA will have to decide which city to make its commercial hub (Karachi or Islamabad). PIA does have a long history and brand so this could prove attractive to investors given that the UK/Pakistan aviation market has high demand (albeit one that Emirates, Qatar have eaten into).
