The New IndiGo B777-300ER! | Mumbai - Istanbul | IndiGo Economy Class| B777-300ER | Trip Report

- Hello everyone and welcome to one of the first IndiGo B777-300ER video’s!
Many have been waiting impatiently for IndiGo to start long haul flying and the day has finally come 😃
The IndiGo B777-300ER still has the interior of the previous operator of this aircraft Azur Air. Prior to that the aircraft was flying under the Emirates colors from 2007 to 2019 as A6-EBX.
The plane has a staggering 531 seats on board, so one of the highest densities in the world!
This flight is a joint operation with Turkish Airlines, who is also wet leasing the plane to IndiGo.
The tickets are sold both at the TK and IndiGo websites so there is a lot of confusion for the TK passengers as they suffer a product downgrade. If you don’t need the fine print you wouldn’t know. So that is something that has to be worked on.
It also seems that TK passengers are served a hot meal while IndiGo ones have to pay and those meals are unavailable.
I still need to properly confirm this but the operation is unclear to me.
There is a single row of 7 Business Class seats but it was unavailable for IndiGo passengers to purchase, only on the TK website.
Come fly with me and see for yourself if you understand any of it and if you like the experience 😅
Have a lot of fun!
Enjoy!
Today we are showcasing you the following flight:
From: Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, India
To: Istanbul International Airport, Türkiye
Flight Number: 6E 017
Aircraft Type: Boeing B777-300ER
Registration: TC-LKE
Flight Time: 06:09

The quality of ur videos are up to the mark I personally have never seen such realistic aviation footage captured by anyone and the amount of details u put are also very helpful...subbed ❤
Welcome to the club! And thanks a lot for the lovely comment. Enjoy the rest of the content. Made by an avgeek for fellow avgeeks ✈️
I flew from Istanbul to Mumbai on 13 July. What a pleasant flight! Didn't feel like it was a 16 year old plane. Silent engines and smooth take-off and landing. We arrived 20 minutes ahead of scheduled time in Mumbai. Will definitely fly again with these people. By the way I was offered seat 25A at the window, next to the left engine cowling.
Silent engines, GE 90 115Bs ? I dont think so.Not ear shattering, but not whisper quiet either.
IndiGo really just buy their own widebodies at this point and operate them on longer routes with better services like WiFi, IFE, Complimentary meals etc. I would love to see an Indian registered IndiGo 777 or an A330neo as no airline here operates it. Its highly underrated.
air india operates 15+ 777s here buddy
@@prakhargupta5676 "IndiGo 777" plus I meant no one operates A330neo in India.
Long haul will just kill an airline
@@Ghytarer vistara isnt bankrupt

I really liked your video …. Being a pilot my self … it was wonderful and respectful to all of us .. and you got the best parts… you gave your views and all valid .. please make more
Thanks for writing! Respect to your job. Whatever I learn from you guys I like to share here. Much more to come, have a nice one!
A week back I was searching for a vlog to see how is Indigo’s B777 found nothing. So I was very happy to see your vlog today. Very good trip report and your captions are very informative. The amount of details you mentioned are amazing and also as I love plane spotting I liked all the flight details you put up. I m sure lot of hard work hours go into it as you have to make note of the aircraft types and the origin/destination details to put up in the video. 👍🏾 Coming back to the Indigo B777 I feel if the interiors are with the original 6E seats it will look good as they have re painted the aircraft they should also install their seats. Currently it looks confusing. Indigo is known for their low cost model so they should stick to it even in their B777 but offer lower fares. With these high fares it does not seem worth it to take this flight as I can get a ME airline flight for a lesser price at full service. As I stay in Chennai all flights are 1 stop and if Indigo is charging a premium doesn’t make sense. It’s almost $500 RT not worth it at all for the low cost model. If it’s $250 I ll fly indigo to IST.
Same situation for Bengaluru as well. Was about to book IndiGo until I saw what they offer for the price. Etihad didn’t have a big price difference at that point and I went with them instead. Instead of nonsense like changing terminals in Mumbai at the middle of the night, it was better to take an overseas layover for this one. Just my thoughts.
787-9 would be an ideal aircraft for them with around 400 eco + some premium eco seats. Even though they wanted to be a feeder for TY on North American routes but filling those 532 seats with no food or IFE or WIFI would be a struggle. I think Indians are now willing to pay a little extra for premium products.
This Indigo flight is for cheap Indians. I will never go even if offered a free ticket
I come for the flight reviews, stay for the technical details haha! Amazing video as always, I've been waiting to see how the new B777 experience from Indigo feels like.
I've flown 6E umpteen number of times in the domestic sector (will be flying international with them in just 3 months) and I've always loved the brand. Never had any weird crew encounters, my only ever uncomfortable experiences in Indigo could be the fellow passengers lol. Most 6E flights I've taken reach well before time, and I absolutely LOVE that. My only quip with the airline would be the food, but then again, what more can you expect for the price. Coincidentally, your choice of cup noodles and Coke zero is literally my staple every time!
Agree. Very boring
Fantastic video! This is the first is the first ever video of the Indigo 777-300ER on youtube. I am 100% sure that this video will help you add many subscribers and accumulate many views. I have flown Indigo nearly 50 times and have never experienced a rude crew member. However, I always find Indigo crew to be really unprofessional and super-slow. Maybe that is due to the poor quality of training. However, sometimes i have found very nice Indigo crew and had memorable experiences with them. Looking forward to the next video1
I wanted to fly this so bad and be the first as I also didn’t find any! So I rushed to fly it, edit and publish it 😊
Look, I know they fly a lot.. And I know it isn’t fun to work for low cost carriers vs some of the better carriers with better conditions, but a customer shouldn’t be paying for that..
I know you “get what you pay for” but that doesn’t mean you should roll eyes at a simple request of mine… anyway, I don’t mind. Each experience and airline is different. For this amount of money I recommend to forget IndiGo and try someone else.
I hope you keep experiencing enjoyable moments with them!! Thanks for writing!
I really appreciate that you mention other flight destination and arrival . 😊
Glad you like that!!
@@TheLayoverAviationi always keep wondering, how do you know about their destinations?

Nice video as always! Still hard to believe that Boeings in Indigo colours do exist.I do feel that 777 is too big for IndiGo for the test purpose. They could've gone for A330s at first and afterwards take decision whether to stick with them or not.
Waaaaay too many seats. That’s very hard to do so. Imagine that not even Emirates as the world’s biggest international airline fills that many seats on a B777. It’s just hard.
I agree with you, an A330 would have been more then enough.. Although with this load the flight would still have been empty with an A330 too.
@@TheLayoverAviationHow abt a321s though?
@@TheLayoverAviation Not to mention easier crew interoperability with the A32x series already in plenty.
@@jirehla-ab1671indigo already has a321s for 45min-5hour flights. It would be odd for an a321 on a flight this long.
This B777 has been leased for Turkish airlines & not from aircraft leasing company, so they took what is available. If they place order, it will most likely be A330NEO.
That AIR INDIA VT-ESO at 6.12 was the one I had worked on during my Internship there in 2019 . Memories 🌟
Glad you have a fond memory of the plane!
6:12 :)
Great report. I’m flying on ZAG-IST-BOM and had option to fly on 6E, TK codeshare on 6E or TK. Last minute changed my mind and booked entirely on TK. Glad I did so.
Good for you! It makes a difference.
I visited ZAG 2 weeks ago, I go quite often! Hope your trip went fine.
Such a nice aircraft, loved the trails in a colourful way. As you said it's testing the water. As an Avgeek I would like to travel on that 777 besides the services, It was a nice report alex😊.
From an avgeek perspective it’s very interesting indeed. I enjoyed each moment. But yes, to fly for comfort and quality reasons not really..
Thanks a lot for watching and writing!
You're my favourite youtuber now, not going to lie you're contect is so entertaining i could watch for hours and I do. leaving from mru - dubai on an EK - A380 then a EK - B777 to newcastle tomorrow. Wish me luck!
So sweet of you, thanks a lot!!!
What a great trip that sounds like. I’ve been to Mauritius plenty of times with Emirates and to Newcastle only once. It is however one of the coolest flights on EK as it is usually on the high density 2 class B777-300ER and the runway there is the shortest that EK operates to, so have a lot of fun!
If it is a 2 class aircraft there are some seats in front of the engine, where the business class usually is at.
Have fun!
Didn’t imagine his video would be so so DETAILED !...
Lovely .. and great info too.
Glad you enjoyed the details.I know I blabber a lot but I always wanted to know it all!
Thanks for writing 😃
What a smooth take-off! Super journey vlog!! Keep going!
great take off indeed, I loved it! Thanks for writing 😉
I like your video especially highlighting some of the facts about B777, instead of the standard going thru the seat layout and food etc. Keep up the good work mate!
Nice video and very good commentary. 25% liad factor is shockingly low. People may not prefer flying to Istanbul and Turkish on their forward journeys to Europe and USA. Dubai or Doha is the most preferred change point
TK is good for connections, but if it is including IndiGo I’m afraid other carriers are better indeed.
Perhaps the loads get better, but this was on a weekend during the peak Euro holidays.. We’ll see..
Istanbul is a better connection between India and USA
Avoids over long flights from Doha/Dubai
For London or EU , Istanbul is unnecessary extra stop
Nice vid love your content, you should try Dubai to Toronto one day. Its a very scenic route in my experience. Congrats on 30k
I’ve flown that route but it’s always so exhausting so I mostly chill and sleep. But I’ll try to film it some day!
Hi Alex, your intros are a piece of art! You have been flying on the aircraft, that used to fly mass Russian tourists on charter flights to mostly affordable international resorts - Hurghada and Sharm-El-Sheikh in Egypt, Antalya, Phuket and Pattaya. Many passengers and consuming alcohol before and during a flight, and large numbers have been duplicated on baggage bins so they have a better chance of finding their's row. With the lowest costs in mind, Azure never cared about using the entertainment systems they received from previous carriers like Emirates. This airline was always having troubles with scandals, changes of management, very poor service, and troubles with state authorities. So, Alex, you tried and tested the mud of flying a Russian charter airliner.
What upsets me, is that an airline like IndiGo with a state-of-the-art fleet of neo airliners seems not to care much about customer service too. Second-hand amenities are even worse than what Azure was offering on these "drunk" charter flights.
Thank you again for your amazing trip reports. You are the first RUclipsr I would pay to continue watching your trip reports if you run out of money or goodwill and desire to share your experience with aviation geeks!
When living in Moscow, I was trying to avoid airlines like Azure (and Pegas fly, Northwind, Royal flight) by flying with Aeroflot to Turkey and Egypt, and EK with QR to Thailand. As an avgeek never bothered to have a stop in DXB or Doha.
Indigo just took the 'Indian Damn You' with the service to international levels...😅
Excellent video……and a really unique route for Indigo. Nice one!
Great video once again, explaining all the technicalities of the aircraft journey as well as documenting the inflight product. Idle reverse is definitely something I’ve observed Turkish use most of all airlines, but just an observation. I’d love to see a Dubai to Heathrow on BA if ever plan to do this route soon :)!
Many airlines have it as a strict procedure unless safety requires them to use full reverse. Many other airlines have the same, such as each Euro airline, Qatar Airways and more.
Yes I am planning BA every month and always something happens that I have to reschedule. This time my mom came to visit for two weeks so I posponed that trip 🙃
I think Indigo will have a tough time running this ultra low cost model on long haul flights. For an average Joe, they don't understand the difference in revenue models. They'll simply compare what services other airline companies provide on the same route, and would expect the same from Indigo. And unless Indigo price its flight really low, people won't mind shelling few extra bucks for the comfort that comes along with it. Comfort is really import on any long haul flight. Just my 2 cents.
Makes a lot of sense. Was about to book IndiGo to Istanbul until I saw what they offer for the price. Carriers like Etihad didn’t really have a huge price difference for Istanbul route. Went for Etihad instead and enjoyed it
That fact that indigo runs on a loss and still put on a image of immense proudness and cockyness baffles me
It’s a very silly flight and it shouldn’t be there. Just a little test to become like the big guys but I doubt it will work. I however wish them the best as they have soooo much potential.
Have been trying to find a trip report video of the indigo 777 for the last month. Finally!! Thank you so much
I think it’s the first one. I wasn’t able to find one either.
Thanks for watching!
Absolutely appreciated you showed my country's Air Tanzania new 787 dreamliner.
I hope to fly it too!
There seemed to be very few passengers on board that flight, I think I only counted 30 or so. Wish I was on it!
It's amazing to see IndiGo finally launch international service, though the quality may not be great, it's definitely a big step that IndiGo has taken
Indigo already flies to several international routes . This is the first wide body plane in their fleet
They already flew to Istanbul on the A321neo with seems a bit more suitable, although the B777-300ER is more comfortable. I hope the experience improves.
Running LCC business on long haul is quite surprising tbh! Unless I'm on a really really low budget, I would always prefer to pay a bit extra and get a ticket of full service carrier for 7h flight. Can't imagine being crammed in a 500+ grumpy passengers with no entertainment and proper food!
Man... 500+ which is more than A380... Great going Indigo.. 🙌
It’s more indeed!! Insane!
Glad you liked the Vada pav. Thanks for making me a video on IndiGo. Expecting you to see you in an AI as well on a long destination.
I love it, who doesn’t?! 😉
i hope to fly AI to a longer destination in the near future.
We were planning to book JFK -IST-MUM, good that I saw this Trip report, am never gonna book this flight till the time they have infotainment and complimentary meals.
You know, I think it’s not a good idea specially if you fly all the way from JFK and are already tired and hungry. It’s just a bit much to handle.
I wish you happy travels!
9:07 was the saddest part 😭
This aircraft is 17 years old it was used earlier by Emirates from 2007 till 2017 than it was used by some other airlines and now its been taken from turkish airlines on wet lease.
Absolutely true! And I happened to have flown in in Emirates as A6-EBX to Denpasar!
Was curious to see any sort of report on this route for so long! Thanks for sharing. The livery seems to be the only nice aspect of it. Everything else seems horrendous like the service, IFE, and buy on board "meals". Especially considering the price and alternatives available. Indigo better just stick to their short and medium haul flights if this is going to be the standard.
My pleasure 😊
I agree on you with everything else.. It’s just not their business model and I don’t think it will work out.. Many low costs trialed the long haul model and it didn’t work.
Time will tell!
Man was not expecting two surprises Alex!😂.
I just love and enjoy your trip reports. Can't wait for the Emirates trip report which I know will be exciting!
Keep it going and hope you had a good time in India😄.
Thanks a lot buddy! The Emirates one should come in the next 2 weeks. I prioritized this one. I only staid in India for transit to take this flight only! But the airport stay was tasty as you can see!
Thanks for watching!
Nice one Alex but 531 seats are massive, unfortunately in my airline we only have 412 seats in the 777, 24x Business and 388x Economy but u can’t forget the A380 even that only has 517 seats, 8x First, 48x Business and 461x Economy
412 is not only, that’s a lot too! Very high density. The ones with lowest density are the Japanese ones with around 250 total. Less then half vs IndiGo! Crazy numbers. Thanks for writing and the interesting numbers!
Welcome to India 🇮🇳
I was there for only a few hours this time.. But always great to go!

No cap bro, but that vadapav looked legit good, and I am a pro Mumbaikar(resident of Mumbai)😆
Vada pavs are the best!!
24:26, 1 and a half month ago, I flew Indigo, Boeing 777-300ER (LC-LKD)with more than 500 economy class seats in a tight 3-4-3 configuration from Istanbul to Mumbai for the 1st time, flight is almost full, flight is good and okay, 7 hours, this time the cabin crew on my flight are nice, but the cabin is a little warm and dry because there is no air vent, different on your flight because you flew TC-LKE to Istanbul and it's weird you have no air vent, but on my flight, I don't.
Amazing video, I just booked myself and my family for my first international trip and it's the A380-800 on EK 501. Can't wait 😍😍😍😍
Thank god I didn’t fly indigo during my recent trip to Istanbul with family . Flew with TK. Difference in service was worth the extra money to fly with TK.
I agree, I rather take TK next time!
Countrywise bilateral cricket series is one of the possible solution to empty seats.
Nice video i love indigo its my favorite airline i used to fly from to dubai to trv pls fly on air india express to trv if u can
I’ll try to fly AI Express somewhere, don’t know if to TRV or elsewhere. I’ll do my best!
Seni seviyorum Istanbul 😊😊😊😊
500+ seats! Wow! Great video, thanks for sharing.
Amongst the most on a B777 in the world!
A thanks to you for watching!
A great video! I have subbed. IMO it is better to book a seat with a legacy/full-service airline if you are travelling for more than 4 hours by air. LCCs are great for shorter hops. Unfortunately, Indigo showed they have miles to go with such shoddy inflight service and amenities - best if they stick to the LCC model and not try to punch above their weight.
Edited to add that Indigo's cabin crew are known to be rude even when unprovoked. I have flown Indigo several times on domestic and Int'l legs and I have felt the same way.
Welcome to the club! I agree with your opinion. I rather pay a bit more for a more full experience.
If it at least were their own aircraft, with IFE or streaming, it would be miles better.
And yes, they were totally unprovoked. I only went to the galley with my boarding pass and asked for the blanket. And they yelled that they would come to my seat during the service.
thanks for writing!
@@TheLayoverAviation Thank you and most welcome! If there was one Airline whose inflight service was flawless, it was Jet. It was a great Airline with some really shady s**t going on in the background, unfortunately.
I was once flying long haul via Emirates and a Norwegian flight attendant was very rude when I requested an extra bottle of water(I tend to over-hydrate on flights). She was immediately pulled up by the cabin supervisor who apologised to me. That no one corrected those Indigo flight attendants is shameful.
Nice video! I love indigo ✈️
Thanks for hopping by!!
I’m gonna be flying on this in September. Have a further connecting to prague. But till istanbul the flight is looking comfortable. Great content 👍🏻
It’s not bad.. Just bring your own entertainment and food if you like. But if you bought the ticket with TK it should be ok. Have a nice flight!
enjoyed the trip. Didnt skip anywhere as its so interesting to watch. Waiting more to follow by
Thanks a lot, super cool of you to write! I hope you enjoy all other content too 😎
As a pilot and foodie I love these reports .. the food, the rolling eyes and used blanket were 3 strikes from me … that flight looked so uncomfortable and disappointing.. a bit of decent food even for purchase and a smile will have gone a long way .. 😊
Indigo is the third airline to fly 777-300ER to fly from Mumbai to Istanbul, with the other being Turkish Airlines and now defunct Jet Airways, which is interesting if you think about it. And fun fact: I actually flew on this exact plane twice when it was flying for Emirates, one time from Dubai to Karachi back in 2016, and another time from Lahore to Dubai back in 2017. I would love to see Air India fly to Istanbul as they too have partnership with Turkish Airlines through Star Alliance.
I was waiting for this since ages! Thanks for uploading this Alex!!
My pleasure, glad you’ve got it now!
Thank you very much. I watched so many flight videos over Istanbul. But you beat them all. Your video is so awesome thank you
Alex eagerly waiting for your EK video...!!! You are the best vlogger for aviation content...!!!
I think the next EK video should be coming out in the next 2 weeks. I’ll work on Sri Lankan now and Emirates perhaps after.
Thanks a lot for the lovely comment!
Superb flying and landing
Great pilots!
Its interesting to know that there are Indigo flights to Istanbul from Delhi and Mumbai. I regularly fly from Brussels to India every year once or twice. Found Turkish Airlines- Indigo code share Flights from Brussels, via Istanbul, to Mumbai. Only problem is 12 to 15 hours transit time at Istanbul. I dont mind going to downtown resting at a Hotel and back to airport. I hope there is a Premium economy section as well, if I can find a not too expensive upgrade! Thanks for the nice flight report with all details! I wonder how you know which aircrafts arrived from where or departing to where! Pity, there are screens but nothing of movies , serials or dramas to watch during the flight! The Blanket looked gross!
Thanks Alex for another extensive trip report.
It remains strange and above all confusing, this kind of "fusions". Good communication towards the passengers also fails here. Too bad, we'll see if IndiGo continues to use this B777.
Anyway, cheers!
My pleasure Maarten!
It is very confusing indeed. I fly a lot myself and it is weird to find myself in a situation where I feel this confused.. I don’t think this business model will last long and they’ll eventually stick to what they are good at.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing this brother... ❤️ Love from india!!
A pleasure! Love back from Dubai!
If you get told to close your window on a TK flight, it’s likely because what they do is they crank up the temprature onboard the aircraft so the crew can work less and get the passengers to sleep as soon as possible. Cheesy move by TK.
I know all the tricks in the book and am very aware that is exactly what they do!! It was boiling in the cabin.
I am totally against this as it is very exhausting for people, specially for sick and elderly if the flight is long.
Your videos are always fun as there is lots of technical info that we avgeeks love so thanks for those expert notes♥. This video was equally fun, so much of minute details as this 6E/TK aircraft itself is a confusing propsition and thanks to you, the travelling on it equally looked confusing, no i shall never travel n be confused. Once again thank you and we love your travel videos.

@9:34 and I also used to notice hydraulic sounds every time she would flare just seconds before touchdown. Us crew siting at door 4 could hear it clearly.
Completely true Neville! And I wanted to mention that as well but I don’t know exactly what the reason is. I believe the plane changes from flight to ground mode and sort of prepares for spoiler deployment etc. But I’m not 100% sure so I’ll have to confirm.
On an anecdote, not even my B777 pilot friends knew much about this as they simply never heard from the cockpit!
Beautiful Air India 777-200LR EX Delta Airlines, I miss Delta 777 so much. 3:33

Super video. Really liked the way you explained the technicalities of the plane. May you fly more! One stupid question. How were you able to identify the flights on the ground 😀
Thanks a lot!
And there are no stupid questions. I identify them with apps. There are plenty of plane tracking apps out there.
Great Video!
Thanks buddy!
I love the new Emirates Livery.
I like how you tube lots of information in your videos. You earned a subscription 💯
Just a piece of information, not to hurt. @ 6:21 Air Arabia goes to Sharjah and not to Abu Dhabi. Within UAE, they have their own brands for their states [Emirates / Fly Dubai - Dubai, Etihad - Abu Dhabi, Air Arabia - Sharjah]
Air Arabia has a base in Abu Dhabi which is a subsidary of the base in Sharjah. The airline operating there is called Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, from an agreement between Etihad and Air Arabia.

Excellent video Alex. What a unique route for IndiGo. Hoped you enjoyed the experience. Nice one. Have you ever filmed in Australia? If not come to Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane to Vancouver, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Not forcing but some ideas :)
I have been to Australia but I haven’t made a video of it yet.. I hope to be able to go soon again but it’s just so far that it would require me to be many days away from home which is hard.. But I hope to go soon!
Oh yes I understand mate :)
Nice Tripreport ❤! TIEM by time Ryanair gets an A330😂😂
Ryanair is smart and won’t do that. You have to stick to a business model that works. You can see here how much money they must be bleeding on each single empty B777 flight. Thousands and thousands of dollars..
@@TheLayoverAviation yeah true
What an excellent video, it was a delight to watch.
2:48, The Emirate's new tail livery looks okay and the title is bigger and bold than the normal standard livery and the title is normal. But I prefer the normal standard livery because it matches the tail.
Wowwwww I didn't expect you will make a video on indigo's B777 that quick. Its has been hard to find pics oThn their B777. From what I see your point, YES, it is hard to fill 500+seats in economy and only one row of business class is available. If they want to make their long haul aircraft more famous, they gotta add services like hot meals on board, WiFi, Blankets, pillows,IFE but with some exceptions. Like have less quantity in food serving or maybe for IFE, have free TV shows, but make people pay for movies & games. Their leasing plan is quite nice but the service could be much better.
Most informative video I have seen! Thanks!
Indigo is a no frills airline. They will try to save every last penny to cut costs, which is understandable. They operate two aircrafts leased from Smartlynx from my city to Delhi and they don’t even bother to paint the aircraft in the usual Indigo liveries, only name is painted and the rest is left white. If you want to get from A to B on time, fly Indigo.
What an amamzing video of indigo big bird 777 eagle
Thanks a lot Hussain!
Wow this is my first time the indigo got a update
And it’s not a great update..
What's with the window shutting procedure? I mean what is the purpose?
It isn’t a procedure, they just made it up to make people go rest and stay quiet. They don’t allow crew to do that on many other airlines.
I have booked this flight next month. Got a layover in Istanbul and then again an indigo flight to Prague. Hope they don’t disappoint
I was booking some tickets today and found insanely cheap indigo flights, such as 200$ from Amsterdam to Mumbai. Nuts! So yes, why not!? Hope you have a nice one!

Glad you liked it!
Thanks! Never flying Indigo on this route with kids! :D
I thought the same, NEVER! My son would never understand why he has a tv and can’t make it work..
No IFE, no Wi-Fi.. Better to choose Middle Eastern airlines at the same price.
Thanks for the review. I won't fly this airline as no IFE.
I thought wet leasing big aircraft will come with good features. But no!
I thought the same! I would have been happy with a paid Wi-Fi, but not even that. It’s really only a seat that you’re getting..
Congratulations for 30k subscribers 🎉🎉🎉

Wow I wanted to see an aviation video regarding the indigo B777 to turkey and voila, I find your video! Honestly, I was really excited to see a bigger plane in indigo livery and wanted to see what sort of service were they providing in it because I have always wanted them to have a better customer centric service flying long haul.. but I am disappointed and a little confused to see what complicated joint system both TK and indigo have agreed to! No IFE, no hot meals especially for indigo passengers and those so called amenities- my goodness, I was horrified to see them!
No wonder not much passenger load is visible on this route. If I hadn’t seen your video, I would have been seething with anger at such a convoluted service! Thanks so much for proving us with this vicarious experience! It’s much appreciated.
Here it is! I was looking for some and couldn’t find any so I flew myself over there.
Sad to see it’s a disappointment for many, I wish it were better or at least cheap. But at the price I paid one can take any other Middle Eastern airline instead.
I don’t think this service will last long as with these loads the airline will bleed money. We’ll see!
Thanks for writing 😊
I Havent Experience IndioGo Yet.Great Trip Report
I’ll do it so you don’t have to😛
@@TheLayoverAviation Thanks
Thank you for your video. I've been trying to find something, anything, that shows the business class seats in the 777 because I'm trying to book my in-laws on Turkish to the US but from Bombay the flight is IndiGo to IST and vice versa and I was told it is not the same business class experience as Turkish. The price difference is substantial and as long as the seats lie flat (albeit at an angle), my in-laws said that is fine but I wanted to see a review or even a photo but there is absolutely NOTHING that I could find. So, thank you again. (Even SeatGuru did not return any info but I'll try again.)
You’re welcome! Even I was wondering. It looked like the two TK crew on the flight were only working in Business Class and the service there was the TK one from what I noticed, but I can’t promise anything. It’s weird isn’t it?!
I hope your family have a great flight!
