      The X chromosome carries more information about physical appearance in itself than Y chromosome. @SY-ok2dq 5 месяцев назад +29

      Yes I've heard that but with my sibling and myself, we look like blends, where there's not a strong lean one way or the other.
      But actually I look strangely a lot more like my father's sister. I don't really look like either parent (you have to anaylze really closely to see one or two features that resemble a parent). Plus I have other traits that make me seem like I'm not their child. But those traits are recessive in my father's family, in the female line (so both my grandmother and one of his sisters have those traits - also have several moles which my father and most of his siblings have too, and mostly on their face, so very visible - no moles on mother's side).
      I can only see a bit of my mother in my face, but I have almost exactly her body type, similar height, similar personality traits.

    • @SY-ok2dq
      @SY-ok2dq 5 месяцев назад +6

      @@riveranicoleOh that aligns with me and my paternal grandmother. I've inherited more of her physical traits than my sibling, but not her height or build (both of those come from my mother). There are actually several physical traits that were handed down to me from her, including her left handedness which neither of my parents have, nor does my sibling. I think all of my father's other siblings are right handed as well. I have a couple of other traits which my father doesn't have either but one of his sisters has (I actually resemble his sister much more than my father).
      There's also the facial and body moles which run strongly through my father's family. He as a prominent facial mole and so do all of his other siblings except one, and I have a very small facial mole but other moles elsewhere. My sibling does not and nor did my mother.
      But just looking at me, especially when younger, I don't look like his daughter at all in face or height.

      For men, there are aging signs at much younger ages. Naturally, the white part of the eyes becomes yellow or darker, there's a huge hair loss, deep wrinkles beside the eyes, and their biological age of the brain, heart, and immune system ages more even when they have way better life than women. They are less symetrical and They even have white hair at 25. The fact that some of them can still father children is not an advantage but quite the opposite. It's a terrible deficiency of nature. It leads to an alarming population explosion full of diseases and defects. Most developmental problems and many other flaws in children stem from the father's age.
      A woman is attracted to a 25-year-old man, even if she is 70. It doesn't mean she's truly attracted to him and wants to have a relationship with him; it's simply her natural inclination.
      I am not married, so i look way younger than married women and way younger than men my age.

      Yeah because beauty also comes from how well the features come together (which happens basically at random however the parents do need to have decent features already for the kid to come out as attractive). Looking at lots of model’s parents you can see that they had pretty average parents (Brad Pitt for example) and their siblings are probably also average looking (again look at Brad Pitts siblings). I think this is why many who become models have somewhat androgynous faces, a balance between soft and sharp. those deemed attractive have higher levels of feature cohesion, those deemed unattractive, lower levels, and those deemed average, average levels.I figured this out through art, as I wanted to find out why some of the faces I drew were less appealing than others, and it seems to come down to a balance of shapes and space.

      No. This is why.
      The sexy son hypothesis states that the man should be tall however it states two variables, and one of them is relevant to this. Firstly for him to be attractive, and secondly for the man to be masculine and tall. Which means that usually the sexy son means, masculine son. However the attractive variable is what makes the hypothesis weaken a little bit.
      So no it is not the contrary, yes it does mean it is weaker.

    This is how some Black couples can have a white baby, or someone has a kid show up with green eyes in a Brown eyed family.

    I honestly think that age, hair and weight are important factors to consider.
    In the first example his choice of hair (Inc. Facial) was not necessarily flattering. If you look at the parents both look to take great pride in their appearance and prefer to keep their hair away from the face.
    I saw all the examples as equally beautiful/handsome people but some having slightly unmatched hair. With the pictures comparing two ladies the one of the right looks unkempt due to the strands of hair on her face, which automatically makes her less attractive in comparison. She also seems to have a higher body fat percentage which is contributing on the roundness of her face. This is simulated on the assumption that she will end up being of similar bmi to be parents but naturally our fat percentage increases with age and fluctuates.
    With the two men the left has softer features which compliments the shaved face. On the right the masculine features would be better complimented with some facial hair and slightly longer hair.
    Due to differences in fat distribution on the face, people may also look their best with varying weights. Some larger people, especially women look stunning with their rounded features. On the other hand people who store fat closer to their jaw will have fuller looking jawlines at lower bmis but may begin to look a bit puffy with a higher bmi.
    Beauty is subjective and has basis on our ability of pattern recognition. The way some colours compliment eachother more than other, shapes do too.
    Some people look better with more fat, some with less. It's about learning what makes you feel beautiful. I was always quite short and slightly larger and at 15 weighed 71kg. By the time I was 18 I went down to 56kg. I was there for my journey and that's when I learnt that I actually prefer myself to have a higher fat percentage (61kg) as it accentuated my features better and focused on gaining muscle to support that form.
    I also learnt that when I was bigger I looked better with my hair down and at my current weight I look better with my hair tied back.
    I also found out that my natural blonde hair is too close tone wise to my skin and made me looked washed out. I look and feel better now that I toned it more orange.

    It’s down to health and correct oral posture. If you bring up active and healthy children they are more likely to be attractive. Couple that with correct body posture and oral posture and most children are likely to be above average in looks at least. Son or daughter. It is often the case that attractive parents have children that are deemed unattractive. Usually due to some health inadequacies. And vice versa with parents deemed unattractive having attractive children. Just look at Zendaya parents. Bring them up healthy, keep them active and be aware of their breathing and posture and they should be fine.

    Attractive parents have a disproportionate number of the attractive people in the next generation, yet people born to attractive people tend to be a bit less attractive than their parents due to deviation to the mean. The likelihood you share the genes with your mate for these traits is dependent on allele frequencies of the population. So if you're an insane outlier for your genetic background and have children with someone of the same background, your children will deviate toward that population mean. And traits are also dependent on harder to predict things like somatic mutations and additive heritability. The next generation of people with +2SD intelligence would only be a little over +1SD on average

  • @jamesferone9021

      That's ... not how it works at all. Regression towards the mean describes a sampling of random variables. If two tall people have children they're passing their genes to their offspring; their children don't inherit random genes from the population.
      Also the runaway effect you're describing is literally called evolution. Without this there wouldn't be different ethnicities or species; we'd all regress back to the same generic proto-organism.

    I think I've somewhat noticed this with celebrity children in some cases. They generally have pretty daughters, but it's a toss up with the sons. But my family bucks all the trends in this video. My dad is hypermasculine, and I ended up so feminine I got misgendered (as an adult) when I grew my hair out. On the other hand, my model cousin had a very good-looking mother that looks just like him. He's like the guy version of her, but he's masculine, and yet his father isn't. When I think of the good-looking non-celebrity guys I've known in my life, if they don't have good-looking parents (which most of them do), they tend to at least have very sexually dimorphic looking parents. A lot of the prettiest girls I've known had either manly/good-looking dads, but frumpy moms, or pretty moms that looked just like them with nerdy dads. So idk about any of this except among very good-looking top-tier celebrities.

    I am an un-identical twin. I inherited the looks of my father and my brother my mother. Both parents could be deemed relatively attractive in their younger years and current age. Both fairly equal in attractiveness. I would say my brother is considerably more attractive than myself not because he has inherited the looks of my mother but because he has achieved much better facial growth. After studying facial growth a bit over the past few years it is considerably noticeable. The reason I am not as attractive as my brother is not due to inheriting the looks of my father but due to the poorer facial growth due to poor oral posture and bad breathing habits.
    All parents should research Dr John and Mike mew and their methods of orthodontics as well as correct oral posture and breathing.

    Both of my parents were the “likable” kids back in their home country, but my mom was very shy and my dad was a nonstop talker.
    Now, every time that I go back, I get told, “You look exactly like your mom!” I also got the shyness while my brother (🙏✝️🕊️) had the outgoing personality. I will say, though, beauty is not everything. Your personality holds so much emphasis on your overall attractiveness, so we should all just strive to be good people. 😊❤

      This is true bro. Our lifestyle surely affects the future generations genes.

      @somerandomguy3037 5 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah, and it will also facilitate a better environment for growth for the kid. If you are an active masculine father then you will likely have your son playing sports, eating more healthy, and in turn developing more testosterone and HGH which will lead to better facial and in bodily developments like him being taller, getting wilder shoulders, low body fat etc. You lifestyle will also directly affect the genetics of your child, so whenever your plan to have a child make sure you start living a healthy lifestyle, training, eating healthy etc to create the best possible life for your child.

    That is why mares generally dont get desexed but stallions are. This is why there are usually one alpha male babboon or rooster or lion per group/flock/pride. Because not all males are beautiful or successful and deserve to breed, but almost all females are kept. Only studs exist to continue the bloodline and improve bloodlines, the rest of the male horses are turned into geldings. This is to improve good traits and remove bad ones. Even our ancestors have figured this out. They gave harems to the most successful men and other men werent even allowed to have wives. And im a feminist, im just pointing out history snd natural selection. For most men and male animals it sucks, for the select few it's wonderful. Im just saying if Alain had slept with multiple women, there's a high chance he would have more beautiful kids for sure.
