Ive had one for the past 3 years and use it primarily for 3 gun and every once in a while i will shoot 100 clays with it instead of my traditional clay guns. To date its one of my favorite shotties. And has never had an issue. I typically clean it after every outing though as i hate dirty guns. Im at roughly 2000 shells run through it and the last time i really took the gun apart to do a big cleanup. And i could barely separate the barrel from the receiver this time around. Had to work it then when i got it apart noticed a lot of larger metal shavings that ive never seen before coming from the top of the receiver. I got it all sparkly and greased up and it still works fine but im worried every time i go use it in a competition it may fail. I was getting ready to buy another 940 pro to have as a backup just in case gun but i found the beretta 1301 comp to be 100$ cheaper at my local gun store. I already have a a400 sporting and a400 extream plus for clays and have never seen the amount of metal shavings like i did with the 940 pro. So i got the 1301 instead
Excellent comment, I'm looking at buying my first clay shooting firearm for skeet/trap/5 stand. I've shot a number of guns on the range and enjoyed the Berettas, what firearm would you recommend the most from your collection?
You guys totally butchered Jerry Miculek's name. All you need to do is watch one of his hundreds of videos to know how it's pronounced...because he introduces himself almost every time.
Bought mine at Shooters World in Florida. Very disappointed to find out when I took it out for the first time to discover it is a Canadian version and only holds 4 shells in the tube. Contacted Mossberg. They don't sell the regular tube, having a hard time finding the right one, so I can use this in competition. Any suggestions?
There are two versions of this gun. The 4+1 (Canadian version) and the 9+1 which is the one in the video. In the specifications of the listing you must know how many rounds you can shoot. My local gun store has both models and a price difference of 150 dollars
Not according to the good folks at GSquare Tactical! They totally blamed the gun for their own misuse and abuse of the gun. Then they complain that the gun didn't work and parts broke off! No sweetheart! The problem is YOU! The gun is just fine! Of you don't understand the operation of a gun, ask someone who knows and maybe you can learn to use the gun properly!

Nice shotgun!
It was a great shotgun. So much fun. Thanks for watching.
Is the worth the $1200?
Thanks
Just got my 940 jm pro and honestly I couldn’t hit s**t with slugs, what optics would you recommend for slug hunting?
Holosun 507 C
Just picked up one for 7 beans well worth it.
Balking at the price of $1200 MSRP?! Locally, I’ve seen them around $900. Most semi-auto hunting shotguns (name brand) start around $800.
Yea - a bit expensive.
i just picked one up online for $780 from grabagun this week there dirt cheap. i got the multicam optic ready version too
What issue was the ammo issue? Running empty? Or did I miss a jam or something somewhere?
It was Fiochi ammo thst was produced poorly. Kept failing to eject. Thanks for watching.
I'm probably going to by a JM Pro Tactical.
Anything JM Pro is a great guns!
As soon as you said hunting. I was like yes. Because you can load any round you want in it. Slug, buck, bird... Its a shotty.
