Paul Rudd will always be the worlds greatest grandma.
I legitimately was worried at the beginning of this, before you guys dropped the ruse, LOL!
Hey I'm a guy who keeps a book of faces that doesn't sell to corporations, anyways I'm definitely human an I fell [nervous] when I saw the intro too
Lol, I totally fell for it too. Well done.
I was about to comment as to how much I enjoyed the movie, and then they dropped the facade. I just went "PHEW!"
I was happy at the begginning of this... Before they dropped the ruse. Reeeeeeeally want these fucking movies to stop.
Raptorus77 Who now writes LOL?
I really loved the film but by god that post credit scene was insane.
I was 99% expecting worse. Cassie dies in the comics. This entire movie seemed to be about fathers and daughters. No one would have been able to get out of their seats if she died.
Xaldel where did you see that?
Yes. how does the ant hold the drum sticks?
Jesus, those first five seconds scared me.
Dumbass.
Just like the mid credits scene
They got me too! Not only that, I paused it to get my food ready so I was under the assumption that it sucked for like 5 minutes before pressing play and realizing it was a joke!
I totally saw the end credit scene coming, but even then it still got to me.
Waits Sharpe I just had therapy after seeing Infinity War. Thanks a lot Marvel Studios! lol
The 60s were fun, but now I'm paying the price for it.
They brought back the guys legend thing when Luis was under the truth serum. He told Sonny where the lab was and then Ghost showed up and freaked out everyone in the room, including the guy who started muttering about the Babayaga.
I think the reason why so many freaked was because they didn't think that ALL of them would be dusted. I had a feeling that maybe Hank only would be dusted, but not Janet and Hope too, especially since Hope will indeed be in the 4th Avengers.
Paul Rudd was casted perfectly as a fish out of water Everyman. At first I was worried he would be Hank Pym and was thankful they casted Paul Rudd as how he’s best cast.
ryder mccall Paul Rudd also co-wrote the movie as well.
What's weird is that for every Marvel actor or actress cast, I understand why they were good for the role. I never EVER saw Paul Rudd coming, and now he's one of my favorites.

“WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEA-“
*rapid backspace*
“Hahaha y’all had me fooled at the beginning there boio’s”
I think people saw it coming but I dont think they knew theyd leave Scott....stranded. That's what shook me.
Ikr, I expected to see some some characters dissolve into dust but I didn’t expect _that_
SPOILER
At the mid credit scene, the Oh Shit moment for me was not that they dissapeared, I saw that coming, it's that they dissapeared and left Scott stuck on the Quantum Realm. How the hell is he getting out of this one?
Edit: it's a rhetoric question, I know there's plenty of ways he can get out of it. But I am curious to see what they end up doing.
Jimmy Reyes Animation He’ll find a way. I love that end text though. “Ant-Man and the Wasp will return?”
Bill Foster might know how to get him out
J B or ghost
Ghost is going to save him, pretty sure. Makes the most sense to me.
Jimmy Reyes Animation He won't, he'll get raped by the weird monster things and die. I swear they'd better not bring them and all the Avengers back to life in Avengers 4, I'll seriously be pissed if that's what they do.
I didn't enjoy Ant-Man the first time I watched it, but then I caught a double-feature of Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp yesterday and fell absolutely in love.
Another thing from the trailer that didn't make it into the movie was the "You Go Low, I'll Go high" From Antman, with the Wasp retorting "I have wings, why should I be the one to go low?" - Nowhere in the movie.
Knowing that Michelle Pfeiffer was Doug's crush just makes the opening to the Food Fight video ten times funnier.
Catwoman being your first crush just makes the really good parody at the start of Food Fight funnier xD
Interesting tidbit about Antman and The Wasp:
Ghost was not a villian. The movie had no TRUE villain. It's just characters trying to achieve something while standing in each other's way. Business man wants tech to do business but isn't played to be your "business tycoon" bad guy like Obadiah Stane or Darren Cross, Hank pym and Janet needs tech to bring wife/mother back, Ghost needs tech to save herself. While Antman is in the middle of it all.
Fantastic movie something different in the MCU.
The true villain is time: they're all running out of it except for Scott himself, who has three tense days until his house arrest is over. Hank and Hope need to find their mom in time, the southern dude needs to get Hank's tech before dangerous people kill him, Ghost needs to save herself before she disappears, and Luis needs to save X-CON before they run out of money.
Hmmm, thats an interesting theory.
I see your point, but then I feel like you could argue that no one is a villain as that is how every bad guy sees it. She became more of a villain to me when she was ready to go kidnap and harm Cassie. She was ready to trade a little kids life for her own, so I would say she was the villain of the movie.
Macayla I was thinking the same thing, but then I though, Eva spent her whole life in severe pain, working as an assassin for SHIELD probably made her more ruthless too and now she faces a horrible death. I figured that she was getting desperate and ready to cross lines simply to get normal again. Not that I agree with what she was doing but I could somehow understand that someone in that situation would do it.
WJZAV I see what you’re saying, and I agree with you, but I still would consider her a villain. Most villain’s do have tragic backstories. If you think about it, it there was a guy who had killed people in real life we wouldn’t excuse him because of his childhood. His sentence might change, but we would still consider him a “bad guy” so I guess that’s where I’m coming from. I totally think Ghost could be redeemed, but in this movie, she was the villain for me.
Dude, you scared me for a second for the first 30 seconds.
Vince omnigeek yeah they do that lol. They have good “it’s great/it sucks” faces
0:15 Dude, you had me worried there for a second
Phew! My whole family is anticipating this movie!
Sydney Losey ANTicipating, I see what you did there.
Lol boys actually had me fooled there at the beginning. Anyways super fun movie not quite as good as the first movie for me but still loads of fun and this might be controversial a little bit but I enjoyed a bit more than Infinity War personally.
I was literally about to change my whole view on doug and rob lol
All MCU movies are trash.
That is what a dc fan what say
modz, that is what you say when you can't write a coherent sentence.
Sexy Hobo really? Why?
Ant-Man got my MOM to enjoy the Marvel movies. She's been more excited for this one than me!
It honestly took me a few moments to realize that Douglas and Pfeiffer were de-aged. I though it was done really well
I didn't see Ant Man and Wasp but I just wanted to see this so I'd ruin it for myself. Doesn't make sense, but my wallet has been in rehab since Infinity Wars
I know what you mean by your wallet comment. :) I hope it's out of rehab soon. LOL
I was a bit disappointed in the Stan Lee cameo, only because I was completely expecting a joke about Stan Lee and Michael Douglass with those shades looking the exact same, perhaps with the FBI arresting Stan Lee as Michael escaped.
I expected that too
The end credit scene was quite fun !
The one with the van or the one with the 🥁 ?
World’s Greatest Grandma
Mr Drake lel
the baba yaga joke does come into play later on in the movie when scotts friend is telling the mob boss the location of the lab and ghost pops in.
Doug. You should do a top 11 Marvel films as soon as the last Avengers comes out.
Daniel Huyer Yes!!! Or he could do it now as Phase 3 comes to a close with Ant-Man and the Wasp 😉
I got scared for a sec when they said it was trash😭
People didn't anticipate the end reveal because they go to a movie for the experience not so that they can analyze it and get points for predicting plot points.
GOSH! You got me ther! hahaha
"Do you just put quantum in front of everything?"
When it got to the mid-credit scene, the audience and I in the theater just went "Oooooo", because we all saw it coming and we were just waiting for it to happen.
People started laughing in my theater
Me as well, I was like laugh/oooo-ing (pretty much everyone did), then I fake shouted "Thanos, you bastard!"
Slight whoops? It wasn't Lawrence fishbourne but his son playing the younger him.
*_QUESTION MARK?!?_*
Can't wait to see this one. A buddy cop film done by Marvel sounds like a great time.
You Guys do a GREAT job - when you're not both talking at the same time!
It’s a good summer flick. It’s not going to win best movie of the year but still a fun movie.
Reports says that Samuel L. Jackson will be deaged for the whole Captain Marvel.
Freddy Camby Has he aged that much??
He looks pretty much like he did when he was younger. I imagine it will be something along the lines of smoothing out a few lines and such. I am curious how much they use prosthetics verse CG.... kinda like with Kurt Russel in GotG2.
Doug is starting to look like an anorexic Stone Cold Steve Austin
Vulgarr the Viking
That's because he IS an anorexic Stone Cold Steve Austin
Doug 3:16 says i just kicked your ass!!!!!
The ants building stuff was so incredibly cheesy, but it works in not only this film but the MCU as a whole. What a wonderful time we live in to be able to witness this franchise.
Marvel Is a great company
I think you mean, "DISNEY".
You got me at the start. I REALLY enjoyed it as well. I could not stop laughing.
This was a great film
I came up with this theory last night, but I think it’d be AMAZING if that ever happened:
What if in the next Avengers movie it’s revealed that the Soul Stone has a whole other universe in it, like in the comics, so that when the Avengers come after Thanos to try and reverse it, and for whatever reason, should it be messing up with trying to use an infinity stone or Thanos panicking, the universe we THOUGHT was the live one collapses and we follow the universe in the Soul Stone that’s exactly the same, where everyone ELSE thinks that the people WE think are alive are dead, which now that the other universe collapsed *they actually are*
I know that Marvel wouldn’t do that, probably, but imagine how heart wrenching it’d be to realize those people you THOUGHT were safe and alive freakin’ die and the rest survive.
Michael Douglas losing his shit every 10 mins was the best thing in this movie.
The difference between Rogue one and the deaging in the Marvel movies is that the original actor is actually there. It's just digital makeup not a full CG head.
AlphaProto Well....kinda hard to make a corpse look young...and alive.

Sorry about that. That's one of those words I always spell wrong.
Sorry about that. That's one of those words I always spell wrong.
Not gonna lie, even though I saw that mid credit scene coming,I still got hyped and freaked out a little. I will say this, how are there still people who don't know about mid/end credit scenes? Either they don't know,or don't care, but the fact that I still see people leave when the credits start annoys me.
When I saw it yesterday, everybody was still in the theatre when the credits started.
Peter Parker it does annoy me as well.
honestly, i'm fine with waiting for the mid credits one but i don't have the patience to wait for the end credit one! (plus, i can look it up on the internet!)
It was so funny. Wasp was a badass, I love the comedy of Ant-Man. The car chase was superb!
Almost got me there guys 😂
I love that you referenced what’s up doc that’s one of my favorite comedies
“What’s Up Doc?” Is one of my top 5 favourite movies of all time. It’s hilarious in its convoluted story and wacky mishaps!
I think they went back to the Baba Yaga thing (very quickly) once as a callback.
Phase 3 is the golden age of mcu movies. I cant wait to see how the downfall of this behemoth happens. I don't want it to happen, it would just be interesting.
Pena's best role TO DATE. So fucking funny in these two movies. :D
Just got back from the theater, I loved it. The people in my theater were laughing along with me. And you guys scared me at that fake out beginning.
Loved it. The Babba Yaga joke does come back in the scene where Luis reveals where Scott is and Ghost appears out of nowhere and the Russian guy calls her that. Hilarious.
Fell for it hand over fist...Nicely done Walker Brothers...Nicely done...
1:13 - welcome to Marvel. Where the self-contained issues with a personal story, world expansion and character development are what the fans tune in for and the overarching plot doesn't matter
2:06 - and this, ladies and gentlemen, is what DC STILL doesn't get... comic book fans are going to tune in for COMIC BOOK FILMS... trying to reinvent the wheel - this ISN'T a deep dark serious story. It isn't. When you try to make it Shakespeare - rather than approach it as what it is - a COMIC BOOK FILM - you rob the very attraction from the largest portion of your fan base.
Everyone knew they were going to disappear at the end, but i think the shock was that all of them disappeared. In my theater, there was alot of people who were shocked.
That one dude recites the baba yaga lullaby at some point when theyre on the chase.
You got me for a second there! XD
The beginning actually got me
THANK YOU. Ant man is one of my favourite movies of all time
@Low Bro fuck you bitch why you always gotta be negative
Hi.
96gamers Ben sup
Looking forward to seeing this tomorrow!
Dam douge you really got me at the beginning lol
I love the movie too. Marvel will never disappointed me. Expect for the first two Thor movie! So funny and well made.
Jonathan Pinzonジョナサン・ピンソン I liked the first Thor. Dark World didn’t do it for me.
Jonathan Pinzonジョナサン・ピンソン And Iron Man 3
Megaproductions302 Iron Man 2 is worse than 3
Griffin O'Hara I still don’t get how it is bad.
MCU always disappoints. Their movies are shit.
Same! Antman is one of my favorites.
After the trauma of infinity wars...this is decent therapy....until that shocking mid credit scene.
Lol that beginning made my heart stop. Holy shit guys, dont play around with me like that. You guys are great! Keep up the surprises!
I was pretty surprised by the mid credit scene because I thought this took place before IW. I didn’t realize they were happening at the same time, so when the scene happened I wasn’t expecting it. I also thought the very last scene was kinda eerie with the ant playing the drums and the alert on the tv going off. That ant is stuck doing Scott’s routine until someone tells it to stop which is really sad if you think about it.
Also I think there is a chance we will see Ghost again. In the comics Ghost was part of the Thunderbolts (basically Marvel Suicide Squad), and Zemo from Civil War ran another incarnation of that team so we may get a Thunderbolts movie down the road
I love What's Up Doc. I think its one of my favorite old comedies.
ghost is my fifth favourate marvel villian. after
thanos
loki
zemo
killmonger
You really caught me off guard there. 🤣🤣🤣
Ok you guys got me good in the beginning
The mid-credit scene gave me the chills.
At 30:20 Stan lee's death was predicted! ... Well okay, everyone dies so it's not much of a prediction, but I still found it interesting re-watching this video after re-watching ant man and the wasp.
Did anyone catch the "Falling Down" reference when they named the guy Bill Foster?
You guys actually had me fooled at the beginning
I saw it coming.... but it was still awesome to watch
Now we have Abomination, Winter Soilder, Batroc, Vulture, Shocker, and Ghost, so can we please have a Thunderbolts movie?
When Hope was saying "Where did it go?" I think she was referencing the device that Ghost stole not Ghost herself.
you 2 have a way better top 5 and 10 MCU list than most people
Robs arms must be jacked! He always seems to be clenching his arms together.
I sort of saw the post credit scene coming... I just didn't expect all three of them.
They did sort of did bring it back when Ghost appears, during the truth serum scene, and he starts singing a nursery rhyme for Baba Yaga.
I didn't think it would be all three that disappear.
I fucking loved it. Ant-Man 1 and 2 are in top 4. Iron Man 1 and Guardians of The Galaxy vol 1 are the two others. The first Avengers a bit below, but almost up there.
So far this is the only review of the movie which i whole heartedly agree to cause the others are mostly judging it by basing it from infinity wars or endgame. I rewatched it recently and it has become one of my favorite stand alone marvel movie alongside ragnarok. The humour is amazing and would recommend it to everyone.
When I heard Edgar Wright was on the first Antman, I was thinking the fast editing and comedic camera work of Scott Pilgrim and Hot Fuzz. O felt we missed out on that, but Antman and the Wasp feels much more like Scott Pilgrim with its action. I feel like we got what we missed out of in the first movie. Really liked this movie even more than the first one.
In the beginning I was like oh you hated it? Lol
25:51 The Meg gets its name from the original book it’s based on, also called The Meg. Thanks, KrimsonRogue!
They actually didn't de-age Fishburne, that was his son playing the part in the flashbacks.
The beginning almost had me gave away my movie tickets sheeesh.
Pfeiffer and Rudd were in that Amy Heckler movie where Pfeiffer played a cougar.
I can hear the music from upstairs lol
When they said "Or a time vortex" I was like, yea that is going to happen just like I thought it would.
The villain in this was time. It had antagonists, but the central conflict was character vs time, with the quantum whatever running out of time. Also, I feel that one of the reasons Ghost seemed underwhelming is because they're trying to make her Ant Man's Bucky Barnes, so they can't make her irredeemably evil.
