This song is from the Anime Sora no Woto and you really cannot understand the meaning of the song unless you watch the Anime, even so it is a great song and just makes my heart soar every time i hear it.
I think I am falling in love with young Hikaru again! The original MV of this song was what made me fall in love with her bird-like voice and delicate but emotional expression in the song, including in how she delivered the lyrics to her lead parts. I really wish her voice hadn't changed so much over the years. She really can't sing these kinds of delicate lines again, which can be a tad limiting I imagine.

I agree with the original comment that, yes, someone can be an amazing performer just because of their amazing voice.. I just don't think that Kalafina is a very good example of that, seeing as so many of their fans clearly see them as some sort of goddesses.. It's like pretending that most of Justin Bieber's fans really are just about his voice and energy on stage.. Come on now. ;)
But I have to agree with Namensverschwender though. Have you seen most of the men in the audience, how completely enthralled they look and how they reach out to them in complete adoration?.. I doubt any of them would act like that if they were looking up at 3 (excuse me) fat pigs.. Even us female fans can't help but mention how beautiful they are in most of our comments! ;) I admire them for their voices and that's why I listen to them, but I enjoy watching them because they look like dolls. :)
I would still pay to listen to them even if they were all ugly. People should know that there are still people using ears to enjoy music but not their eyes =]
