One of the islands in the Cook Islands make the same type of drink w the same name “POI” We use fresh grated coconut and limes. But because the coconut isn’t the same where we are we opt for cream and lemonade.
I love this..I remember my dad adding peanut butter to the drink and that tastes really good as well❤️❤️maybe next one you can try and add peanut butter❤️❤️

Question what’s the difference between poifala an poi fai drink
The one that we usually used back home is really, really sweet so we don't we need sugar. I forgot the Samoan name of the banana lol😬💖😊.
