At Bridge Street near the approaches to Victoria Bridge the Halifax bound Ocean heads East with its first stop just over the bridge in St Lambert. The Ocean is the only Via Rail long distance Sleeper train in Eastern Canada, it has recently lost the stainless steel dome cars, but still uses the British Renaissance cars, now nearly 25 years old. The F40PH-2 engines now run back to back, so the train need not be turned on a loop in Halifax.
In the background a four car REM trainset soars on the viaduct over CN tracks at Pointe St Charles Yard.
