- A Chick Corea's theme from 1976 album ''My Spanish Heart''. This piece quickly gained jazz standard status.
The piece was written in honor of his father, a ’30s and ’40s Dixieland trumpeter who had introduced him to the piano at the age of four.

legendary chic song ...in my opinion thebest gig ever played and recorded was chic corea with patitucci and vinnie colaiuta ...acustic trio at blue note tokyo ...if a had to pick one gig to admire for ever that would be chic from blue note

Good playing, but it's a rhumba, the clave is inverted. You dropped a tumbao like one would hear in a salsa tune, and that's just not the way this tune swings. .
Sorry I'm a bit new to this genere. I will take that into account and re-study the issue
