- In this video I will be showing the difference between the stock exhaust on my 2.7 Ecoboost F-150 compared to my newly installed Flowmaster FlowFx muffler (WITH RESONATOR DELETE). I will have the link for the muffler from amazon here below in the description. I Hope everyone enjoys the video!

Thanks for the video, I basically copied your setup 100% and I couldn’t be happier. I was skeptical about exhaust on the v6 and didn’t want too raspy. This setup is very mild but noticeable. Not overbearing and no highway drone

Just put this exhaust on the truck, definitely louder than I thought it was gonna be in the high RPMs but honestly if you’re not on the gas it’s not that bad. But for everyone watching it is loud up in the the Revs!
Do you think it would it be a more tame version if the resonator was kept on?

Yeah i just did this setup and did not like it at all. It was so lowww. It thought it would be a bit louder lol
I have a 2019 3.5. Think it will sound about the same ? Also, what’s the brand/ part # for the tip ? I like that exhaust tip ! Thanks !
My buddy's 2016 3.5 has this same setup. Sounds even better than the 2.7
Dude, sounds great! I see you went centre to offset for the muffler. Is it 2.5 in the front and 3 in the back for outlets on the muffler itself? I did a resonator delete but just not enough!

No sir no drone whatsoever, cant even hear it past 5th gear so it doesn't bother while cruising 👍
Do you have a part number that goes to that muffler. I have the same truck as you so I need the same inlet, outlet .
What is the name brand of the 4" tip? I've heard the Flow FX w/o the res delete. I plan to start there . I think it will be enough for me. I just want to get away from the girly stock sound, lol. ty for the vid!
Unfortunately I don’t have a brand or part # for the tip, I just picked it up at my local muffler shop 😂
Did you end up sticking with this muffler and res delete? Still happy with it? I’m worried the combination will be too loud/ droney.
@@nickhawes2523 No res delete. FX muffler only with 4" tip. Love it. Not too loud. I recommend it .

Do you have a tune on this truck before the exhaust upgrade??? also are you getting any engine lights from pulling the resonator?? I would like to do this to my 2021 but don't want to be dealing with the engine light all the time
No I didn’t and still don’t have a tune of any kind on the truck, and I have had no engine lights whatsoever.

Did it have the rasp at the higher rpm with the resonater still in place?
No sir has never had a rasp whatsoever with or without the resonator. It sounds perfect with no drone
I think the rasp is from the non turbo ones but idk

got a2020 2.7. awful. was looking at that same exhaust. engine still wine? can you hear w that on now. and tires and lift?
Sorry I dont really understand what you're asking in terms of a whine but my lift/ tires don't make any noise whatsoever. The exhaust sounds good and has no rasp or drone.
@@austinwolos9463 truck looks great. I was wondering what the lift was. How many inches. The whine comment was about my engine. If I’m in a drive through you can hear it. I imagine with your pipes it may hide that whining noise

Should be almost identical. I don’t think Ford changed any combustion components
How much did you pay for labor to install the muffler? Want to make sure I'm not gettinf screwed.
I actually welded the muffler in myself at a friend of mines shop so I didn’t pay anything, but I think it would be anywhere from $50-80 bucks
Meanwhile us 2.7 engine get 450 miles until empty
450 i get over 600 I love it also I have 32 gallon

Yessir it has gotten a little more quiet since the first day but nothing serious. I honestly think it sounds perfect for the truck now!

It’s a straight through design with no chambers so it can’t be installed backwards
sounds good for a leaf blower lol... its no 5.7 hemi with muffler delete but better than stock for sure.
