Pretty cool and super informative. Sir, i applaud you for risking your bike on your scientific wheelie theories for us fellow BMW owners hahah. It is amazing how much you can fine tune how the BMW reacts. My superduke was hell on wheels. I think it knew i was afraid and wheelied on purpose 😂😂
What an exciting and informative video, thank you so much! I particularly appreciate that you keep it concise and sharply cut, while others would bloat it into 60 minute video wasting my time. Keep up the good work and of course I clicked that subscribe button!
It works, 2023 m1000r europe, 1-2-3 gear on wheelie control max wheelie possible, you have to trust your bike and apply more throttle. The bike is stok
Thanks a lot for testing what i suggested to you, it was awesome to know that it would turn off whheling control, maybe u save my back cause one day i would have tested and i would have maybe made a backflip, thks
In the race pro modes if you turn off the wheelie control and still have the traction control on you can wheelie thats the porpuse of split the traction control settings over the wheelie in the race pro modes give it a try.
I know this is old, and you have a newer vid. What is your ABS set to? Dominik Blass BMW has a short vid explaining the settings for wheelies. Search Thrilling Settings stunt bike. Key is race pro mode, go to config, engine on 1 aka direct throttle, wheelie control 1 and ABS on 2.
When you pull the throttle to wheelie do you just pull it all the way until you can’t open the throttle no more or do you slowly progressively open the throttle??
So I have an s1krr I’ve been able to wheelie from first all the way to 3rd on high wheelie possible. I’ve also been able to get it to pop up on 2nd (bikes stock)
What happens when DTC is turned to -7? I turn my traction to the lowest setting, and -7 DTC with high wheelie possible and it feels like I could loop it so I set it back down. Would love to know!!
@@topmaster999learn clutch ups. They are wayyy more controlled. I mean i only have half the power you have, but still. If youve got your brake control down, clutch it up.😊
@@topmaster999 I wonder if its different on the M1000R due to the different sprocket and transmission, would be super easy to flip if set up like the S1000RR

Thank you! I rode a super Duke a few weeks back and yeah… that bike is a monster 😂

Heck ya! Thank you! That means a lot 😁
You mean after the 4 minute ‘pop it in, and the pop it, and pop it again’ or including that?

In Canada we have that huge flat spot in the power so without a tune it won’t wheelie through the gears
Glad you tested that, always wanted to know👍

Heck ya thank you for the video idea
Thanks man for the videos! It works on the 2020 rr too!
Sick! That’s good to know!

Great video, cool bike
Holy cheese balls, Batman.

It’ll work, I’ve gone first-second-third with high wheelie possibly mode on, you have to shift fast af though
Is your bike tuned?
@@topmaster999 it is, just a stage 1 Bren tune
That may be why I can do it, I never tried shifting before I tuned it though 🤷🏻♂️
That tune is such a game changer, I’m confident I’ll be able to shift gears after I tune my bike haha
@@Tboffroadfab yeah that's why I say it got s1000r I've done 2 to 3rd wheelies just prefer starting a wheelie in second gear myself
awesome testing!

I pretty much pin it right away

Ps it will let me do it randomly sometimes it the wheel stay up on the shift and sometimes it goes down
Really eh.. I’ve got my bike tuned now. I should remake this video and see if it lets me keep it up
I’ve done 1st to 2nd on my s1000xr with and without a passenger
Tune?
@@topmaster999 not yet
Sheesh I couldn’t get it to stay up at all. And I was going slightly uphill

I’ve got a video showing that :) ruclips.net/video/iYx9ulI3Osk/видео.htmlsi=m-1VBgH8XwDqccfN
@@topmaster999 So it only changes the wheelie control if you turn DTC all the way off?
Yup!
But its at full power ?? power of motor ??
It is yeah. I actually need to do this test again now that I tuned my bike. I think I’ll be able to hold it easy after the tune.
What bar end mirrors do you use?
They are the stock one from bmw
So you're telling me if I do high wheelie possible on my S1000RR it won't loop me lol?
It won’t, but do it at your own risk! 😂. Make sure everything is turned on
Did you try in power mode maximum?
I didn’t, I find it so twitchy when you’re trying to wheelie. I was in full horsepower just had the torque turned down one notch
Nice vid. What mode were you ? Street, race, ?
@@topmaster999learn clutch ups. They are wayyy more controlled. I mean i only have half the power you have, but still. If youve got your brake control down, clutch it up.😊
Being able to WOT, max acceleration, and controlled wheelie is such a cheat. 😁
It 100% is 😂. I’m gonna take this bike to the drag strip and let the bike do all the work soon
try clutch ups with wheelie control
I think that overrides the wheelie control haha
shut everything off, learn how to wheelie correctly, clutch-ups, I wheelie my GSA all the time. learn from the Brazilian kids with sandals on.....
😂😂 nice I like it
Should of tried second to third
I’ll have to try it and get back to you haha
I swear my 20 s1k on high wheelie comes up like 3-4 feet ok

These are not even close to being “high wheelies” smh 🤦🏼♂️
They are pretty low yeah 😂
