I did wish to add that before it became the base for the health department it was utilized for Job and Family services before they moved to their newer location. This was about 21 years ago. I had to go there during foster care for supervised visits with the birth parents before they officially lost custody and my brother and I were adopted. Majority of those toys we played with especially the little horse on springs. The doors that are in half to where you can just close the bottom were used for our visitations.
Awesome video, with great information! Such a trip to see places like this, still standing.... they sure don't build places with strong bones like this anymore... Thanks for sharing!✌🏼😎
We'll be investigating and filming a documentary at this location March 20th, 2021 for 16 hours. Thanks for the walkthrough and historical information. Catch the film over on our channel later this year.
Pretty neat. Did you notice the face in the floor at 3:30ish? Cool sounds. The more you work on editing, the better and easier it gets. Well, it doesn’t get easier, you just get more critical of your own edit.
Hi John! I'm doing research on the infirmary for an investigation and I was just wondering if you could say where you got the information that the building was used as part of the underground railroad. It would be alot of help!
😂
Super Nintendant??!!
Awesome 👏

John, this is so interesting. I remember my dad saying we were going to the Poor House. They really did exist at one time!
They still do
Where?
A poor house like this?
I went there last sunday!! Caught footsteps, whistles. Thats about it.
Been by this building many times. It will be a different experience next time, now that I know the history of it. Thanks

Very good job! Better than some of these guys that regularly visit abandoned places but always seem like they have no idea what they are doing.
Well Thankyou! I always try to provide something worth value, thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed!
The doors in this video are cool. I have a mirror in my bathroom that is similar to some in this documentation
John Cassity , this was fantastic. Got to watch it again. The attic is my favorite part.
