The video introduction was lovely :) well done on that part, and clean restoration work of that case. "Some choose the hard path, some choose Packard Bell!"
Looks really good, I'll give you that. But I don't like painting plastics. If you're not aware of it you should google for the "8 bit guy" who has a retrobright process with Salon Care. Take a look at that. You get the original color from the original plastic.
Thanks for the compliment. I'll also take the criticism. Be aware, though, that the whole retrobrite things works to a point, not 100% and as I do not plan to throw these computers around, it is a good finish. Also, I live in an area where there is little direct UV light and I have seen some older plastics take "offense" to any chemicals and partially disassociate when they are soaked in them. Everyone is aware of the 8 Bit Guy (I have met him personally at a computer fest) super nice fella!
Have bunch these in NOS. Nice restore 📹 video 😊 Thx for sharing!
Awww! Thanks for the compliment! Appreciate you!

Imagine if someone from the Packard Bell factory installed Doom 2 on the Packard Bell you rescued
That would be the bomb!

You are probably right! My RUclips earnings won't afford that!

@@UncleMikeRetro Cool cool, well what you've done is beautiful either way.
sorry for the rant 😎 you are nice to put up with me!
WOW! Socket 7 😮....can you send me this Motherboard? I want to buy a Socket 7 Motherboard 🥺.
it is REALLY proprietary though. it will only fit in this case the way it is designed
@@UncleMikeRetro Is there any way to get such a Socket 7 Motherboard? or complete system including Case, Motherboard, Processor, RAM, HDD?
2 ways. eBay or go dumpster diving. Best ways.
