Thank you for the insight! I have Saturn retrograde in my 4th house of Capricorn. As the oldest child, I always felt like I had to take the brunt of my mom's tyrannical attitude. I had to resolve early on that my mother either didn't love me, couldn't love me, or just wasn't interested in learning about the kind of person I was. It was much later in life that she tried to rectify some of the damage, and I am now fairly close to her, but never can be as close as I wished I had been. I have feared my mother and later an exhusband most of my life, but I have adapted and learned not to fear tyranny and I am happy to be living mostly free of it. One thing that I have to do, as I work with a lot of numbers and facts, is that I have to check and recheck things constantly. I blame Saturn retrograde and Saturn square to Mercury. One talent I seem to have that I attribute to Saturn in Cap is that I am a 60 year old woman who knows how to build things, I have redone vintage campers and built my deck and have many other building projects in the works with very little help. I have found that the downside to having Saturn in 4th is definitely having an endless "honey do" list on the home front, and that's why I'm always busy at home with very little downtime. My projects take months and months longer than someone else who is faster, and I blame Saturn again for that because everything has to be "just so".
That is the loveliest and most humane perspective I have ever heard. Very healing and soothing to those who have Saturn RX and have more than often read or heard how doomed they are. I can't tell how grateful I am, Frank. Hope you will return someday to Astrology Hub.

My Saturn retrograde at the MC in Aquarius. I was always in charge of my siblings when we were younger. It took me a while to figure out I did not need to be in charge of them as adults!😊
I have Saturn retrograde in Scorpio in the seventh house. My father was a bit of a tyrant, and experiencing that in childhood delayed my interest in marriage, and affected my ability to choose a healthy partner. I did marry later in life and feel I’ve resolved these early conflicts.

Totally!!!I've a retrograde Saturn ruling my Ascendant, and at 21 I became a single mother of twins.
Awesome topic! My Saturn is retrograde in 10th house Cancer on MC opposite Venus/ North Node.
I had Saturn go Stationary Retrograde exact conjunct my 2nd Saturn Return (Natal Saturn Rx) in Capricorn *whilst* my Progressed Saturn turned Stationary Direct.
My whole life has been turned upside down as this transit has indicated upheaval along with others of Pluto and Uranus.
