I remember we had a laptop, after I had pulled out the charger, I decided to set it back up and load up windows XP after 6 years, it was 2020 at the time, I had last used it in 2014, the year of it's EOL, and it just felt so clean, it felt so magical, nothing would even go wrong with it, XP was truly magical.
Fun fact: The sound driver needed a software update as to why it wasn't working.

It’s surprisingly snappy and responsive. My windows 11 laptop has GUI lag somewhat frequently. IDK what it is, but I think the modern UI/UX is fairly unoptimized. It hypothetically would very difficult to make the simple UI/UX of XP laggy. Probably why it felt “clean” And you’re not wrong lol

This takes me back to my early teens. I'll never forget when I upgraded my very first PC from the abomination that was Windows Millennium Edition, and installed Windows XP. I really wish I could experience that magic for the first time again. I remember we thought "This is the future. It's finally here!"
It just was so sleek and clean, with features we'd never seen before, and simplicity we'd never experienced before. This music is a timeless reminder of those days when old became new. It all went so fast from there on.
