Eh, I wanted to be energized for the morning with the Royer's aggressive compositions, but you made me cry with this... well, late-classical-early-romantic-esque (?) interpretation... I'm not mad, it was beautiful!
It might just be the acoustic of the room, the post processing and the youtube compression all combined, which causes it to be muffled. I still think the harpsichord sounds better for this piece.
Lovely in its own way. Certainly doesn't sound Baroque - sounds very much either Romantic or 20th century. Very different from the Harpsichord. I was ready to hate it (as certain Baroque pieces written for the harpsichord don't necessarily sound great on the piano) but I quite like the interpretation. It doesn't sound quite as wild and raw as it does on the harpsichord though - somehow, tamer. (And for all those who think Baroque is somehow too antiseptic and dry, they haven't heard enough Baroque music).
@@matthewcooper4248 its just such a weird mentality to have, ive played cello pieces on the piano before. Like genuinely whats the big deal? Calm down, just out of spite im going to start playing rameau's entire discography on piano
@@matthewcooper4248What is your logic here. “No! People can’t enjoy a piece on another instrument because it’s not originally on there and doesn’t sound like it originally did!” Stop being elitist and shut the fuck up
i prefer the harpsichord sound in this piece,

[insert a mean harpsichord supremacy comment here]
Piano wasn't a good fit for this piece

Wonderful job I do like this version
Замечательное исполнение!
Beautiful....
But it sounds alive on the harpsichord!
Fantastic!!!
Wow this is beautiful.
Génial
Роскошно! Ещё бы так хряпнуть ❤️

Wow
It sounds so weirdly muffled on a paino. :\

Something about piano versus harpsichord
I hear a harpsichord soul in the piano when I hear this piece
lol at turning the silly repeated chords into Romantic torment.
No, but it's pretty good, I suppose, for a piano.
Bruv “for a piano” sound like instrument racism
Play this piece on piano give more aeriality, lightness... what better for a "vertigo"? thanks

Oh my. ummmm.....let's stick with the harpsichord. Mmmmkay?

it just annoyes me when some one tries to play a harpsichord piece on piano!
believe it or not, not everybody has immediate access to harpsichords
@@littlekreeper8918Then they should stick with piano pieces if they only have a piano.
