Parts are showing up before the weekend to get this done. Excellent video. Straight up, no BS. Looks like the rear bolts comes out without bending the flange or taking out the spring like I saw in a different video.
i’m trying to get adjustable control arms but i don’t know much about them. could you send a link for a kit? i want for both the front and rear. 2018 dodge charger R/T
I was just told by Miller's Tire Mart that I couldn't get my rear to align until I get adjustable control arms until I do the wheels are going have that inward bow that's going to keep eating my rear tires up are these the parts he's talking about??
so far so good, no complaints, As far as the tools go, I don't remember where I bought them from exactly but this link has the same wrenches for sale. could possibly get away with similar ones from harbor freight but those didn't come with the extended nose on the wrench (sub depth bolt heads). this is what I found that I think are my wrenches. www.nationaltoolwarehouse.com/5-Pc-XL-Ratcheting-Wrench-Set-with-10-Metric-Sizes-P165350.aspx?NTW+-+0+-+Smart+Shopping+-+All+Products+-+660&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA-bmsBhAGEiwAoaQNmsWaC56CluZWCwY19TPo9HZ_hfYURoXbDBTDhhYQbTNZxRf_htWZLRoCc6AQAvD_BwE
My 300s is eating up my tires from the inside and took to an aliment shop but they coudnt het it done. They told maybe hit some potholes but there not enough adjustment to get them aliment
@hyr0llr can you adjust the inner side of the control arm to come out any, or why would the inner side have that nut assembly on it, if you are only adjusting the one side?
Yes you can adjust the inner. If i had to to this again. Id use the inner side to take most of the adjustment to 1/4 inch before matching length. And then use the outer side barrel to adjust the remainder. Sorry for the late reply.
@@hyr0llr did you install the spc offset camber bolts in the front end of your car and did you use the slot cutting punch tool to cut the slotting for them? if you did, since i am assuming that you do not need the cutting tool anymore, would you be willing to sell it to me? i am having this done with my car back home, while i am on deployment and i am looking for this punch tool.

Yes
Is your car lowered?
No it's factory set@@hyr0llr
@@hyr0llrIs that the same reason your replacing yours with adjustables?
@@hyr0llrThis is the 3rd time in two years that I'm getting new tires for the rear
Do you know why they might have made the OE control arm have that sideways curve that you don't see in the new one?
I woild assume clearance?
What material are the bushing surrounds? Rubber or Poly?
How much you thinkis a fair labor charge is I have too find someone put the same part in my car but the oem part
A shop would probably charge a couple hundred. A mobile mechanic might be cheaper.
Have you installed any control arms for the front of the car ? I lowered my challenger and im in search of adjustable control arms
I didn't mess with the upper arm but I did do the front lowers.

How have they held up? Also what long wrenches are you using? I’ve been meaning to grab some longer ratcheting wrenches with a flex head
so far so good, no complaints,

@@hyr0llr this is perfect. On sale too! Thank you boss 🙏🏼
Did you need alignment after or did you just match adjustable to your old parts?
Just matched it but it is recommended to get an alignment so you know forsure, and so you dont chew up your tires
@@hyr0llr thanks bro I'm doing adjustable on mine today
@@frankieguevara9807 Good luck, let me know how the repair goes.
