Yes, a video on this was needed. Thank you.. You know what's funny, this is the nicest looking above ground pool......period, to date. 5k- 12k metal above ground, not as nice looking. Not at all actually. Yet they consider these the downgrade. Perhaps, construction and endurance wise But if this is installed level on the correct ground and well cared for, winterized correctly your good. Which is the same for a metal pool. I guess a puncture risk, but that would take real sharp force. I bought the Intex last summer, so glad I could get anything for my kids. A " regular" pool wasn't available with installation until this April. I was forced to pay double for the Intex, but when you know what that summer was gonna be like on our children, everything closed and gloomy, picturing them inside I couldn't stand the thought. Not easy on them. Great pool, 2 complaints. 1 a complaint may be for some. 1. The Intex, it's an eyesore. Only if you're a stickler for your backyard oasis decor to flow, whatever it may be. It looks very industrial. The battleship grey with the writing on it. I think for it's regular price that they could have done better. It's not a get what you pay for look. There's writing all over it. 2. The system they seem to so graciously include, as I read more, seem to give is for a pool a size smaller. More $ for them at the rate I'm reading about it. I'm very grateful the kids have it. But I would choose the summer waves over any above ground now, I believe. I spent so much time backwashing until I realized this isn't right. I'm a newbie for pool care. If I may ask... Did you have to upgrade your system, can it be changed to saltwater and any concerns or advice since you've used it. Lastly, do any upgrades involve cutting into the pool? Best to you
Thank you. Was wondering what was going on with the pool. My Inlaw’s are emptying it out. To re do the leveling. The spot it’s on was ariginally a smaller pool then this one. We have the same exact one. We’re going to have to add more sand to where the original pool was. It was going on more then it should of. But now I see the result is pretty much the same as yours.
Ours did the same. We converted that junky pump/skimmer to a Hayward skimmer and a sand filter. I’m not happy about the bow. We are building a deck/wall around ours, so I hope it looks better.
HI- Can you do a follow up or help with a reply? I am in this exact situation! No videos on this pool! So did it straighten up when filled? I have the exact pool and just set it up today- No water in it yet- Instructions do say that the bow is 100% normal until it fills up - We used the foam just like you because you probably saw the same video of the family of four putting the intex pool together lol

Did the skimmer come with the pool? If not where did you find a skimmer that fits?

It’s bowed because the poles are up higher than the middle of the pool
Ours did the same. We converted that junky pump/skimmer to a Hayward skimmer and a sand filter. I’m not happy about the bow. We are building a deck/wall around ours, so I hope it looks better.
did you have to use the U-shape, O-shape and V-shape parts
so why is the pool bowed in on both sides? did you ever get it fixed?
I'm just seeing this now, did you level the cement blocks with the ground?
I can't tell, if not was it an issue. Hoping not. 🤞🏻
Thank you! 😁
We just got the same pool but do you know why the sides go in wards
Thank you for making this video! It did help!
Do u no how wide it was with the leg parts included
Is it still bowed when it will filled up all the way ?
no it’s straightened up once completely filler
uploaded new video check it out
Cool nice pool
What size blocks did you use under each leg? or better yet, can you measure the width of each support leg?
i used 2 blocks but most on one side broke so I suggest to completely make sure you have the ground leveled and use stronger pavers
uploaded new video check it out
It’s bowed because your pavers on the pool legs are above ground level and it’s pushing the sides in
The pool is on foam so it's at the same level

yes the Pool came to its normal state once completely filled up. I can do a follow up video if needed

Beautiful pool. Thanks for sharing! 😊
Thank you too
Concrete blocks may be too high. If possible remove them. (Unless your sided straighten out as you fill it.)
The concrete blocks need to be flush with the ground. That will help! 🙂
These pools look like Noah’s ark to me
