Drag racing content is so much better than drifting content rn , like I think he should give the drifting a break for a bit and focus on making that barra 350r more powerful because it had more potential. This is Adam’s PRIME TIME!!

Love the drag racing. Know what it takes to drag race an obscure chassis. Back in the day we used to take our turbo e36 328i to the strip alot. Best time of 9.92 @ 158 in 2007. Edit: so many broken axles and shafts until frank at the driveshaft shop came through with the sponsorship and the first sets they made for e36.
It’s hilarious how Adam can line up in a FD final and not be all that nervous and WIN. But then a fun drag day he’s sweaty n nervous 😆 Love the drag content bc you understand how to get faster now.
This car is so dope. I wonder what a longer rear gear would do. Your trapping basically 140 in 4th. I wonder if a gear that add a extra 10 to 15mph in 4th would do for ya. And shifting to 5th at the 1000ft probably won't help anything.
Watching all the other drag race stuff axles are basically consumables. Not bad given the amount of launches you had on both of them. So upgrade, build, break and repeat! I'm here for more of it.

Most definitely change the rear suspension on the gt350 when you do the axle swap. Its WAY too loose and even with good quality parts the bouncing will cause something to give.
Might be faster mph wise than the gt350 but it takes longer to get there which means the barra is quicker....plus its really needs suspension upgrades done and it would easily be a 8 sec card
Bro Hold the hand break and let out on the clutch just enough to put load on the drivetrain. Foot to the floor and on the 3rd yellow dump the clutch and hand break at the same time. Adjust launch RPM accordingly if she spins.
Hi Adam, just found the channel and love the content so far. Some constructive criticism, you don't need a John Force style burnout lol. After you're out of the water and your tires start to squeal usually means they're hot, dry, and good to go. You should be able to do your burnout and pull up to stage without having to back up to get staged. You can overheat a street tire by doing too big of a burnout. As others have said, on a drag tire you should be doing it in 2nd or 3rd to get the wheel speed up to get them nice and hot. For flat shifting any gear you should try and improve how quickly/solidly you shift between gears first, before trying to bring it into the mix to help prevent any missed shifts. It's a mental game too, and being worried/having to think about the shift can lead to disaster as well. IMO it's exactly like learning to rev match your downshifts, practice makes perfect. And I'm sure you don't have to think about revmatching your downshifts anymore. I'm not sure what kind of shifter you have, but one with a good 3rd gear assist can make all the difference in confidence for that 2-3 shift. Personally, I love a heavy/snappy 3rd gear assist. Once you figure out what angle to push the shifter at you wont think about it again. I'd also recommend getting the 3-4 shift fast and solid first, then flat shifting at the strip. Then move on to improving the 2-3 shift before flat shifting that. The 1-2 is essentially the same as 3-4, and is up to your digression to flat shift or not. You did great in the 32, launches were pretty solid but the shifts are killing your time. Just my humble opinion, from one random guy on the internet to you. Glad you got the suspension issue figured out on the GT350 and can't wait to see what it does now
Should hit up someone who knows barra swap drag racing. Benny's custom works would be good. He's tied in with halltech and mcm. A collab with those guys would be great and certainly would do good views.

John Doc builds quite a few drag cars and he tends to go for Strange rear axles and shafts some are built with axle shafts brakes the lot to bolt in. I would also say your rear suspension needs looking in to as that ruins drag cars. Good Luck.
Cant wait till you can get the Barra GT350 sorted out... It's looking so much better each time you tinker with it. I'm not sure on the weight of the GT350 but a well kitted Ford FG and a 1000hp Barra can get into the mid to low 9s.
2nd hear burnouts in the 32 might help too. Want to get some wheel speed up quickly to get them warm. Although it seems to be hooking good so far, if you need to pour some more into it off the launch this could help!
Nobody gonna talk about how the gtr was clearly accelerating before the start line on the roll races? If they were both travelling the same speed and next to each other on the roll, it would’ve been a really good race

2015 and newer mustangs come with linelock from factory if i recall correctly

One tip I learned with the stick shift stuff is to do your burnout in 2nd or even 3rd gear to get the wheel speed up to put some heat into the tires

While you are under the 350, install some better bushings and solid cradle spacers along with some good shocks/springs
