@@DirectAimI can usually get about 5 years out of my iPhones before upgrading. The only upgrades made since your 12 pro has been the 120hz screen and camera upgrades. So like you said no real reason to get the 15 pro

Instead of the 3000 nits (which IMO was a solution that had to dig out a problem), if they had come out with a week of battery life, this would have been a fantastic option.
This is the best part of Apple. You dont feel the urge to upgrade your existing ones as there is zero innovation! Very soon a day will come when Apple will be a product passed on by one generation to the other as vintage stuff.

@@aeroneflores412 Hardly Usable ? what are you talking about ? Turn off Assistive and turn on just Quick Actions. It works 99 precent like Double Tap. Same functions and gesture and without any display artifacts like with assistive

Love it, in EMU/ euro countires launch price is like 100€ lower than the first ultra. The old ultras are at discount now sitting at 879€ and ultra 2 is 909€. The first Ultra was at launch 1009€ in finland atleast, better and cheaper, whats not to like.
I am really interested in the double tap. That might be the only reason I upgraded my own watch this time.

Can’t see well due to auto dimming. Please do test it out in dark environment. I have returned it after 2 days of usage.
I also returned mine. This watch is unusable in a dark environment. The first time that I can remember Apple releasing a dud.

Thank you for this post. I've been using a Garmin for a year after giving up on the Ultra after a couple of months, but decided to order an Ultra 2. But after watching this video I won't even open the box. I'll return the Ultra 2 piece of garbage. 36 hrs of battery life? 😂🤣

Honestly my one disappointment is we’re still stuck with orange. That’s going into this knowing this was going to be an S model. My one thing that I would like to know is if that hand gesture allows to snub a call. Being in the medical field, sometimes I don’t have the opportunity to look and choose whether to answer the phone or not. Looking at my phone, and then snubbing it is still considered rude to most and saying no to Siri just makes you look like a crazy person, if you have your AirPods in.

Yes. It is in WatchOS 10. I have it on my ultra 1 right now (I’m on the public beta).
Does that watch face only show up after an update after this keynote? Or it show up before the keynote?

Too big. When will they make this in a 41mm case? Most women don't have wrists large enough to wear this. I'm a jewelry size Small, so I'm pushing it at the 41mm for my Series 8. But an average woman's wrist is still only 6.5". So the maximum watch face she'd be able to wear is about 43mm. So this product is really exclisionary. Which ticks me off bigtime, because I live near a big city and I'd like that alarm for walking to my car at night. Plus the flashlight would be great! Why won't Apple make an Ultra for me?
The siren isn’t super loud and the “flashlight” is pretty lousy compared to what’s on your iPhone. If you want a good torch on your wrist, the newest Garmin Epix and Fenix are excellent for that (I have an Ultra 1 and Epix Pro).
