Berserk (1997) || Episode 16: REACTION

Welcome to our Berserk reaction!
The retreat was a ruse and Casca takes the fortress, defeating Adon and the few remaining guards. Guts fights with the Rhino Knights' command Boscogn before his sword breaks, only to gain a sword that was provided by Zodd from a great distance. Guts uses the sword to kill Boscogn while Griffith kills a wounded Gennon to assure the Hawks' victory.

The one that helped Guts wad Nosferatu Zodd in human form... the demon that he and Griffith faced in earlier episodes... the one that also warned Guts upon seeing the Behelit
... that surely when Griffith's ambition are destroyed Guts will surely die

Zod did not really saved Guts, he saved Griffith who owns the red behelit. Saving Guts was only a side effect. Events are manipulated to bring Griffith up in his glory, then to crush him.
Casca is fine, it was really only a scratch.

@@DenverSenpai Respectable approach ^_^ I like Berserk manga alot. Its crazy how many interesting stuff wasn't included in anime adaptations. Do you like Cyberpunk stuff? Lots of mindfuck anime in that department for sure, like Ghost in the Shell or Animatrix to name very few.
