And yet weirdly enough Wells is now doing a similar thing with Spider-Man first having Normans “sins” making him crazy/evil and now a few months later having what seems to be Norman’s mind doing the same thing

Also, every "evil" Batman has a solid point in that, yes, every death caused by someone Bruce refused to put down for good or hell even set up his own black site for rehabilitation is entirely on him. He's essentially sacrificing innocent people to stick to his code and it's part of the reason Gotham will never be truly safe. At what point does that shit stop being a plot point to introduce another evil variant and start being an actual critique the character has to address and adjust to.
I forgot The Penguin "died" at some point, though I thought that was because of Red Hood getting entrapped in the old bird's scheme before he returned.
I like that Bruce talked to his family about the mistakes that he did over the past year or so and made amends for what he’s done to them, including Jason. I also like that the entire Batman Family worked together to defeat Zur, a clone of Bruce who became Robin, and one of Bruce’s mentors. The one thing I can criticize is Tim’s recent Robin suit because it looks off and that I prefer him wearing his original pre-Flashpoint Red Robin suit because it’s a sign of maturity, evolution, and character growth. Overall, this comic is good!
I think one of the most important aspects of Batman’s character that people seem to forget in these “Batman is the real villain” arguments is that batman understands that the criminals are mentally unwell and their crimes are not out of choice as in the law it clearly states someone criminally insane is not of sound mind and body therefore they couldn’t be actively “choosing” to do these crimes like they are crazy that’s the whole point batman is trying to help them because he also experienced horrible trauma that changed his whole life

As much of a fan as I am of Batman, his no kill rule has become somewhat of an issue. I could maybe understand if it weren't addressed here, but now that it was addressed, you can't ignore it. Putting criminals in Arkham or Blackgate doesn't do anything because they will inevitably escape and kill again. Bruce needs to start either killing criminals or permanently disabling them or something. A lot of heroes have no kill rules tho, so its not as big of an issue with me as it is with many others, but Batman seems to be the only one who gets shit for it.

Perhaps the only thing they could say as to why not is that he sharpens Batman like a whetstone preparing him for greater/multiversal threats. Otherwise he should off him.
That's why I like the telltale storyline. Bruce actively made Joker a villain by enabling him, but he cares for him like a friend. So it actually makes sense why he wouldn't kill him. Bruce genuinely wants to save Joker. In the main storyline, they are just strangers to each other, so it's just unreasonable.
