I'm 66 and I don't think I have ever seen a better looking man than Barry Gibb!!!
They had - and still have - something which is quite rare these days - an intact, close-knit family. Pretty rare to see that among world-class performers. But I think it's precisely that which has helped them stay together as a band all these 40+ years. RIP the departed souls....

I had a huge crush on Barry Gibb for who knows how long. In the 70’s, I was a teenager who loved hard rock bands but there was something about this band and most every song they put out, I enjoyed. I met them several years ago. I was working on Miami Beach,Fla as a mail carrier. They were so down to earth. Like men. I loved Barry. They had a studio over there. Was a joy to meet them. Still have their CD's.

The Bee Gees are my disco "heroes"! Uncle Robin and Uncle Maurice are smiling down broadly at their nieces, nephews and sister in law.Mama/Grandma Barbara is gushing with happiness at the grandkids and Papa/Grandpa Hugh is as well.Uncle Andy is singing his heart out with joy as well.
It's not just beauty what makes the BeeGees, it's there love of family,love of great music,love of writing beautiful music from their heart and there love of animals, is how I see them.
So many similarities between them and my family. Right down to 4 brothers, 1sister (myself). The tragedy of youngest going first of the brothers going last. Anyhow, my brothers and I are all still here, so far, I adored their music and was totally in love with Andy. Even had a poster on my wall at 17years of age. Even though I had no chance in you know where of ever meeting him. I loved the music from this era!! None better.

Barry has a beautiful soul. You can hear it in his songs and in the way he he talks about his family. He is so amazingly humble. Barry has written some of the most romantic lyrics in his songs!

Saw Barry at the Hollywood Bowl a couple of years ago. Great concert. How sad that all the brothers are gone. I’m glad that some of their children are helping to carry on the Gibb legacy. Have a nice drink of SAKE or SAKI as he called it and relax and enjoy life.

I wonder what Hugh Gibb's band sounded like and I would love to have heard a recording of Barbara (Pass?) Gibb's voice. She sang with his band. I imagine that's how they met and fell in love.
