    Happy Friday everyone! The S500 may be the entry-level version of the new S-Class, but there is nothing basic about this car. It offers plenty of power and surprisingly good fuel efficiency, that it may start making you question the need for a V8. Expect an AMG version to be revealed later this year.

    That interior colour really pops, good enough interior overall, but I can’t really gel with the way the headrest cushions look, they contrast too much with the rest of the seats, though I’m sure they’re comfy they don’t quite look like they’re an original part of the seat, makes them look like aftermarket additions. 🤷🏻‍♂️ silly nitpick though.

      It may sound complicated and overengineered, but it works just fine. This engine has been around for 4 years and its reliability has been excellent. The times of burnt turbos and exploding superchargers was a loooong time ago. Its smooth as butter, powerful and efficient.

    FFS when will you read my comments on every video explaining that if you adjust your shutter speed LEDs will stop flickering annoyingly in every single video. Also when will tech writers stop writing screen sizes by diagonal inches in cars? As you can see these are both 12 inch screens and look completely different. USE SQUARE INCHES!!!

    Lexus LS500 twin turbo 0-60 is in 4.6 seconds so the LS is faster then this car. Fun fact.
    The Lexus LS in F sport trim is also more stylish also. Tho the S class interior is more technically advanced then the lexus but I like the details and quality of the Lexus interior over this S class

    • @MercOne
      @MercOne 2 года назад +3

      The LS is a joke by comparison at this point. The LS500's performance is the same, a few tenths of a second are not enough to make a big difference and the LS is cramped and doesn't have the ride of the S-Class either. It's not even a contest anymore, and hasn't been in years. The S-Class pulled ahead many years ago.

      @@MercOne how exactly is it a joke when it’s faster ? It’s a lexus so 19 years from now we will see the resale value on both. Lexus definitely had a great ride with the air suspension option. It loses nothing to the S class. The LS is more classic with a lot of Japanese detial in cabin. As I said before the this Benz is more tech on the inside but the Lexus IS more details and classic luxury. It’s also cheaper then this S class

      @@Juako0217 google the LS500 0-60 times it’s 4.6 seconds flat. What are you talking about the Lexus LS500 is still faster.
