Alex Murdaugh Denied New Murder Trial, Conviction in Wife and Son’s Killing Will Stand

Alex Murdaugh was denied his motion for a new murder trial Monday after a South Carolina judge determined the jury was not influenced by a court clerk.
Murdaugh, who was convicted last year for killing his wife and son, had claimed Colleton County Clerk Becky Hill attempted to influence the jury to convict him.
