It's the same reason she screamed that shit in the first place; if the cops were called or when she called the cops, she wanted witnesses to be on her side. No because this genuinely made me look back on the days when I was 102lbs and in an abusive relationship … I feel lucky that it never got to this. Poor Jorge
The one thing I believe is that without alcohol this would not have happened. However, she chose to drink and drink and drink and she is a nasty drunk. Alcohol is no excuse for violence. So many drunks are violent. Even when she texted when drunk, she was violent and threatening to kill Torres. According to her ex, she had another drink when calling 911 so her argument that she was still intoxicated from the prior night is nonsense. The other tenants must be delighted they no longer have to put up with the drunken fights.
He didn’t specify that it was an alcoholic drink. If you saw the body cam footage when the police arrived that morning, Sarah just kept going on and on about wanting to get her Dr. Pepper from the house because she was so thirsty (as well as her cigs lol). She ended up drinking a bunch of water out of the garden hose. There’s no proof that she was drinking alcohol that morning.
@@georgewashington2930people don't typically say "have a drink" when talking about non-alcoholic beverages. A lot of alcoholics drink in the morning because their time sleeping is the longest they're not drinking.
Actually even without alcohol Sarah has lied, manipulated and made false accusations against every jailer, judge or atty that dared to disagree with her. Sarah's drink of choice was dr pepper with vodka.
@@byBeauxARTFULIVING you are 100% correct. Her jail incident reports have more negatives earned than positive. Sober or not, Sarah has to control the person and/or the situation. You can see she truly enjoys stirring the pot.
How can it be self defense if they were having a good day and were playing hide and seek??? Totally the opposite of what was said and shown in the interrogation. WOW, the defense is really grabbing at straws.
AND that’s exactly what she’ll use for her appeal. That’s why she’s not stressing it. But the judge was smart. By asking her if she was happy with them. I believe it was a bit premature to ask, so early. But smart none the less, to put it on the record.👍
@@Inbetweenthelinesnow The judge is going to need to ask her multiple stages throughout the trial I believe (at least certainly one more time at the end of it!) for her to be shut out of being able to claim “inadequate representation” in an appeal.

Seeing Jorge lying on the floor - he’s as big as my teenage son. Seeing the suitcase. Just blown away. Also I would love to hear prosecution talk about how “small” she is vs how “strong” Jorge is yet she was clearly able to flip over the suitcase and later remove him from it. Would have also liked to see some processing of the upstairs. I heard a theory that perhaps she attacked upstairs with the baseball bat and then put him into the suitcase. Neighbors’ testimony indicates the suitcase started upstairs. I would have liked to know if there was any blood evidence upstairs. But let’s be honest. We don’t need it. She killed him.
The neighbor’s testimony did _NOT_ indicate whatsoever that she used the bat to attack him. What in the world are you talking about???!! The neighbor’s testimony indicated that she pushed Jorge down the stairs (either in or out of the suitcase), as there was a tumbling/rolling sound going from top to bottom. And regarding your other point - men are generally stronger than women and that is just a fact. Unless she was a bodybuilder or something, his muscles are going to be stronger than hers, as well as even his grip (there are an absolute litany of biological differences between men and women - down to VO2 capacity, size of our hearts, strength of muscles, etc.). Lastly, saying that we “don’t need” all possible evidence is preposterous!
@@georgewashington2930I never cited particularly to the neighbors’ testimony. I said I read “a theory” so… IDK what YOU talking about. It’s interesting you believe the blood evidence from upstairs is necessary…. But I didn’t hear any testimony yet about how every man is stronger than every woman. It sounds like you prefer accepting facts despite the factual evidence offered. I would not want you on a jury. The blood evidence is not available. As I said I would have liked to see it. The jury will have to weigh what evidence there is. In my opinion, the evidence will show that she murdered him. But I’m not on the jury. Maybe they’ll all just go with “men are stronger than women generally AND THAT’S A FACT!!!!” (A fact not in evidence, at least not yet. But ok.) And unless there was an unknown man in the apartment - which no one including SB alleges - then she was strong enough to flip him over inside the suitcase and by her own admission she was strong enough to pull his body out the next morning. Her own admissions say that. By the way the “evidence” that all men are stronger than all women - or that Jorge was stronger than SB (which doesn’t exist) also doesn’t take into account a man who might be stronger but is choosing not to fight back, or who can’t fight back.

He had Brian her ex-husband on the stand who said that she would be aggressive and scratch his face when she drinks she becomes very aggressive and she’s claiming to be spousal abused when the ex could prove that she’s the abuser and the prosecutor didn’t bring any of that up. Ask him a few questions about the 911 call and then let him sit down that is unbelievably baffling.
He’s subject to recall. I expect those issues will come in later in rebuttal to her claim of self-defense/BSS. You don’t want to give a preview of your rebuttal, we know SB will testify and giving her a preview will give her time to dream up lies.
Some people are nasty drunks/druggies. They are not helpless little gals or guys by any stretch of the imagination. Sometimes the drink or drug makes them more powerful. Plus they may have something wrong with them mentally. Someone who is mentally insane can really hurt another or do a lot of damage if they set their minds to do it. Anyone who ever worked inside of a mental hospital will attest to this. Their strength seems to come out of nowhere. That's why the Drs keep these people on their medications.
Don’t worry. This prosecutor is absolutely phenomenal. He doesn’t know what she will testify to so he has to be careful to avoid a mistrial. She’s totally going to go all in and lie about everything. Lots of witnesses on recall to come back.

No because this genuinely made me look back on the days when I was 102lbs and in an abusive relationship … I feel lucky that it never got to this. Poor Jorge
Sarah was the abusive one. she abused Brian and Jorge. Both men had to defend themselves from her attacking them.
46 yrs old playing hide and go seek 😂 that poor guy !
She's saying please hurry? She took her sweet ass time even calling for help!!
When the prosecutor played the 911 call for the jury, she was cooked 🤦🏽♀️ She should have took the plea deal.

Being racist isn’t funny. That says a _LOT_ about you that you think it is.
How can it be self defense if they were having a good day and were playing hide and seek??? Totally the opposite of what was said and shown in the interrogation. WOW, the defense is really grabbing at straws.
Her Defense Attorneys are inept.
AND that’s exactly what she’ll use for her appeal. That’s why she’s not stressing it. But the judge was smart. By asking her if she was happy with them. I believe it was a bit premature to ask, so early. But smart none the less, to put it on the record.👍
@@Inbetweenthelinesnow
The judge is going to need to ask her multiple stages throughout the trial I believe (at least certainly one more time at the end of it!) for her to be shut out of being able to claim “inadequate representation” in an appeal.
Her bf is dead and she somehow feels it’s important to tell the PO’s many times they were doing a puzzle and artwork
How did Jorge get all the way to the far side of the dining table after being shoved down the stairs in the suitcase ? thats at least 15 feet. Sarah must have flipped the suitcase over many times, poor Jorge. She is an evil monster

Brian Boone seems like such a nice guy. He was a victim of Sarah too. I cant wait until rebuttal. Thats where this case will get good.
I agree. He seems like a sweetie and now he has had to take care of their child while explaining that his mother is in jail for killing Torres. How awful it must have been for that chld to be around two arguing drunks all the time except when he was at his Dad's.

Their child will be better off now.
Oh she definitely pushed him down the stairs, while he was in that suitcase!!!
But ok.)
And unless there was an unknown man in the apartment - which no one including SB alleges - then she was strong enough to flip him over inside the suitcase and by her own admission she was strong enough to pull his body out the next morning. Her own admissions say that. By the way the “evidence” that all men are stronger than all women - or that Jorge was stronger than SB (which doesn’t exist) also doesn’t take into account a man who might be stronger but is choosing not to fight back, or who can’t fight back.
She could have called the cops "there's a threat in my suitcase"

Too bad you don't know how to add a timestamp. This is an 8 hour video.
I’m worried about this prosecutor.
Her lawyer is terrible. I don’t need to watch more than the opening statement to know that. Regardless of what she did he’s a terrible lawyer.

Notice the book prominently displayed on the defense's table. I hope the jury can see that SB was the aggressor in that relationship. Mr. Torres had no DV incidents before he met that "White Dragon". SB the bully who pretends to be a victim will meet her match in prison.

Sarah didn’t have struggles James. She excelled at everything she does!
If you are a victim of DV, then you have a 100 percent chance to escape if they are in a suite case for 11 minutes. You can run out the door, you could forget your phone, forget your keys, run back in and make a sandwich, go to the bathroom, make your bed, take a dump, go upstairs and take a 4 minute power nap, make a bag of popcorn, remember you forgot to wipe after the dump, deal with that, turn off all the lights and catch walk as slowly as humanly possible….. and you could still get away from the threat because he is in a suitcase for at least 11 minutes

I may be wrong, however I was under the belief that it is only those who are convicted of murder with a death penalty sentence that get an automatic appeal. Someone who gets 20 years or even life isn’t going to get an automatic appeal.
Attorneys can always file for an appeal though, EXCEPT in cases where the defendant took a plea deal. That’s set in stone.
Again, I might be wrong - but that is what I have learned from watching trials and law videos for a long time, along with reading and informing/educating myself. However, I do not have a degree in law, nor work in that field, or anything of the sort.
