I would happily play either or both. If looks makes the job then you get a A+ If sound makes the job then your grade is A I've never seen a pitched pine top, very interesting looking Well done!
Yes there both great sounding, one with the loudest voice would be for lead playing the other would be a singers delight, Thanks for sharing them with us, I built the music makers kit, but there not deep enough about 3 inches.

the pine and maple sounds better to me , and louder even though a smaller body. very nice instruments
