But you cant castle unless neither the rook or king have moved. So having a rook on the opposite end of the table from your king doesn't work as castling only applies to the players very back row.
@@matheus_brunelli Yeab but... If you're going to make chess analogies, you should at least make sense. For those who play, what they said is just a bunch of rubbish using the names of the chess pieces. Kind of cringe and dumb.
@@ROodrigoMS If you wanna be this rigid then the characters shouldn't even choose any piece whatsoever that is not the queen. But the scene is just there to draw similarities between the characters and pieces of chess. There is a connection between Batman and the knight. Similarly, Robin could be associated to the Rook. I see absolutely nothing problematic here
@@twilightresonance1789 yeah but it makes no sense to promote a pawn to a bishop or rook when the queen can do what they do, but getting a knight can be a massive help, so when promoting a pawn you really only have 2 options
Oh great now we have a bat-chess. I know branding is important to strike fear in the hearts of enemies but sometimes they have too much time and money. There is even a bat-screensaver in a cutscene.
i just find it so cute that tim was just standin there waitin his turn to play chess with alfred.

It's kind of funny that Tim doesn't know how to play chess considering he's supposed to be really smart
