"Whuaaat? I died INSTANTLY!?!?!?!?" - sure fight for 5 minutes take every hit and then die - thats instantly, does this "man" even know what instantly means?
As someone who has played no Kingdom Hearts game EXCEPT "358/2 Days" (I know, I know, I'll catch up on the rest..) it is quite refreshing to see those guys do something useful at last. :)
@@Lobsterwithinternet Tell me about it I played 1 and watched chain of memories and about to finish 2 this damn series is going to take me months to finish
So basically, he doesn't want there to be any consequences for spamming forms all the time. Seeing Anti Form so often just tells how much he uses it and of course he says it's stupid when it happens. It's a lesson to not use forms so much especially when just staying in normal form can be just as effective if he paid attention during some of the fights.
MrJJ6640 I'm only going to try to do it for the trophy. No way am I going to try and do Lvl1, Critical because I know that I'm not good in the slightest to not get hit during a boss fightsXD
After fighting Roxas for myself, I’ll have to say that I do agree with Phil about his boss fight being a pain in the butt as well as the checkpoint they give you. Then again, I played it on Proud/Critical and actually used Reflect.
I don't consider myself a strategist, attacking being my plan of attack, usually defense, sometimes. But, I'm not one to just randomly attack, though. I use different attacks, not just hit buttons or use the same attack over and over. I usually tend to think, too. I think this is Phil's plan of attack, too, except without the thinking.
Funnily enough, Antiform can be good in very specific situations. It does very decent damage against mobs but it almost universally bad against bosses. But yeah, the game isn't about using forms in every single fight. It's about recognizing the right situations to use them in
That commands menu must have been blocked out of his vision at that point - he shouldn't have missed the "press X to win clash" prompt at 0:46 if he saw The End pop up on a command menu with only question marks beforehand. He only notices The End at 2:32... like one retry later. There's an actual chance he could have accidentally hit the correct input for that prompt the first time, and yet he still failed it.
DSP: alright who's next? Larcene: Alright Nigga IS TIME 😈😈😈 10 seconds later DSP: OH COME OOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOON THIS GAME IS FUCKING STUPID!!!! Me: 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I love you Larxene
27 deaths. 27 deaths on the other Organization XIII members. But zero deaths on both Xemnas fights... I have a feeling this guy is trying to say that Xemnas is easier than the others...
I might actually get this game and if I do I’m going for the Anti Form run the form itself looks nice and the dodging floating seems like a unique thing. He cries about the move so much but then again if you gave him what he wanted he’d say “this was dumb easy all I had to do was spam so and so”
I hate to say this, but Anti Form isn't a form you can choose, it randomly happens if you rely on Drive Forms too much. It's the only Drive form you can't choose. And, you can't Revert either, you can't use items, Reaction Commands, or anything Shortcut related. You literally have to wait for the Drive Gauge to run out completely to go back to normal. That's why you shouldn't rely on Drive forms too much. Actually put effort into your playthrough, dude. I'm not saying don't use drive at all, I'm just saying, use it sparingly, and don't overuse it. Try and rely on your other skills and abilities, and don't play the game like dsp. Have fun with the game, but don't neglect skills in the game either.
25:08 I have never seen anyone fail at the 50 clones. I also noticed he isn't using reaction commands as often. He abused Drive Forms every chance he got, but the one battle feature you are supposed to abuse the hell out of he is not abusing.
3:38 He says right after repeatedly pressing the button which caused Sora to "dodge" into a lot of Roxas' attacks - except the lucky attempt which actually had him dodge like four or five of the light orbs. It's also about the same as having all of them hit him at that point because his HP is so low after that barrage.
27:20 Dammit Phil stop just running in and think for a second. You know what's coming so prepare. Get out of valor form (worst form for this fight), get your drive gauge back up and go in there and USE MAGIC.
Dies 4 times to Roxas. Dies to Larxene 4 times. Dies to Marluxia 2 ties and both deaths were by his scythe attacks. Dies to Luxord once. Dies to Demyx 2 times and both of them were by his 'Dance, Water, Dance' move. Dies to Axel once. Dies to Saix 3 times. Dies to Zexion Once. Dies to Lexaeus 2 times. Dies to Vexen 4 times. Dies to Xaldin once. Dies to Xigbar 2 times. Dies to first Xemnas battle 0 times. Dies to second Xemnas battle 0 times (Yeah, I'm as surprised as all of you). Add all those loses together and died 27 times to the Organization XIII members, with the worst battles being against Roxas, Larxene, Vexen, and Saix. Some please shut this man up.
How do you even lose to Axel at the start of the game in Normal difficulty? All because he's too dumb to hit triangle, what a waste of human breath. He's the kind of guy that wouldn't know how to get out of a swimming pool because the latters seem too difficult to use and he doesn't have Twitch support in there.
NAcHO1713 Even on Normal he’s pretty hard took me 5 tries to get it shame you have to run through that whole city again to fight him otherwise it’s a great fight
In another world, that poorly timed revert from Antiform during Zexion's battle (48:51) might have cost Sora's life by interrupting the combo for Once More's effects.
what's worse he's only gonna play one and 2 he's never played one of the spin off's so he's fucked when kh 3 comes ot. he dosn't even know the fucking main villains.
He skipped all the other games despite claiming that he would try them out before Kingdom Hearts 3 released. Phil still has not played any other Kingdom Hearts games. If you don't play Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, you won't know who the "wayfinder trio" are or the actual appearance of the main antagonist. If you skip Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance you won't know who the main antagonists actually are or major plot revelations that are used in Kingdom Hearts 3's story, which will in turn spoil all the plot revelations of prior games if you play it first.
He'll probably brute force his way to victory by grinding for synthesis materials and experience levels - and not show any understanding of the game mechanics. That is, if he even gets past the Roxas prologue.
Phil is so bad at kingdom hearts, it's inexplicable really. If he knew you could completely negate attacks by using leaf bracer/cure he might not have died so much. I'm not surprised he never noticed it protects you from attacks, given he neglected to read the text onscreen to the point where he didn't notice the 'lion' ability menu in the Pridelands.
as annoying as it is to not be able to heal while in antiform. watching antiform data sora do those combos almost makes it worth using for style alone. If they are possible for you to perform, but I haven't played this game so I wouldn't know
If he survived Roxas he would be pulverized by Xigbar - he already has trouble dodging that barrage attack and wouldn't figure it out within a few attempts for sure.

Phil acts like the devs think anti form is good, yet it was actually put in the game as a punishment for spamming the forms.
Funnily enough, Antiform can be good in very specific situations. It does very decent damage against mobs but it almost universally bad against bosses. But yeah, the game isn't about using forms in every single fight. It's about recognizing the right situations to use them in
DSP would go on to hate anti form later in his playthrough.
I was screaming “PRESS X” for the whole xemnas laser barrage. “I’m reflecting as much as I can!” Lol
Lmao just found this video and I nearly died at the Saix part. How fast did you speed the fight up?
Poor Sora! I'm so sorry that mean man keeps getting you killed!
Btw 'Shrekt' I ❤️ it haha!
It's kinda sad that Phil got rekt more times by the other members of the Organization than Xemnas himself.

Well, save for his final form, he kinda is.
It’s been years so I may be remembering incorrectly, but I do kinda recall Xemnas being the only one that I beat in a single attempt as a kid.
I had to cry in the corner for a while after, during the last hour of a 30 hour game, he said "Oh yeah this game has a dodge roll"...
Roxas Vs Sora Battle was by far the best in KH2 imo the music was also amazing..
DSP doesn't even pay attention to the information bar at the top of the screen LOL

so did he just never beat a bunch of them?
Yeah. Luckily for him, they're optional.

not gonna lie took me like a day to beat Roxas on proud mode
Does he not know what blocking is
How the fuck did he get as far as Roxas?
Kh2 is actually an easy game on any difficulty and DSP rushed this game anyway.
