It's so painful to watch Phil play RPGs. They require so much commitment from the player but Phil sees that as a setback because he needs to get to the next AAA game ASAP. Now unless he can make bank with it like KH3 next year and chooses to play it himself, he doesn't want to hear anyone suggests it because they are too long.
