Please make sure you are connecting the camera to a PoE+ network switch. Once the camera is properly powered it will perform a self test. Once finished, the Standby LED will no longer glow and the camera will be ready for use.

The movement is just not natural feeling at all. Is there a way to adjust the acceleration/deceleration curve beyond just start/stop suddenly?
Hello there! unfortunately, not at this time. We will have auto-tracking Firmware updates in the future.
will the auto tracking be good enough for a basketball game?
The auto-tracking is designed to track a specific person. It might do well tracking the referee but could have trouble with individual players. If you try it, put it center court with space above head level of people in the crowd.
Are there another way to update the firmware of this camera beside the Ethernet cable?

I didn't know that PTZOptics is also releasing a Move SE PTZ camera. Is this supposed to replace the Gen 2 cameras? I noticed that BHPhotoVideo lists a price of $1,000 for the 12x SE which beats the gen 2 prices by a long shot. I can't wait to suggest this camera to smaller churches on a budget.

Would really like to be able to control the auto track from the controller app so I can turn it on and off when our Pastor comes up to do his sermon and then turn it off when he is done and not have him have to use a remote.
You can currently do that with the web interface. So the code is available and our team is building it into all the other apps
@@PTZOptics I use 2 monitors today and one has OBS and the PTZ controller, the other monitor has the OBS scenes display so no real estate for me to open a browser at this time, maybe using the PTZ plugin for OBS there is a way to map one of the presets to do that, that way I can keep the monitor set up I have? Unfortunately we wont really have a need to ever use the remote to activate autotrack. So will be nice to see how it all integrates for us Worship streamers that sit behind the scenes
