These are just a few things that I have learned over the past month which would have helped me from day 1. There are a lot of help videos but these were things I did not see in the videos I had watched but wish I had.

Looting a blue corpse unknowingly is such a quintessential UO thing. I remember looting somethings back in 1998, first time playing, walking into town and immediately get attacked by players and losing all I had at the time, without knowing how or why. Absolute classic.

I agree, I remember my first time being gray and not understanding how or why people were attacking me. I logged off and spent a long time trying to figure it out before my friend got home and told me via ICQ. Those were the days....

Yeah, started playing outlands 2 weeks ago and forgot you can flag by accidentally healing the monster you're fighting. Next thing I know I'm running up from level 3 ossuary with half the dungeon chasing me until 10 people beat my ass and stole my shit.

Yeah that sucks. I did not get killed by that many but it took a couple of deaths to figure out what was happening.

Great tips! If you use regular keys as your hot keys without shift/ctrl/alt, you can use the "press enter to chat" feature. helps a lot

I had that set on another client but then every time I went to talk to someone in game I was trying to cast things. I would forget to hit enter to start chat lol

Nice video, I have a recall escape hotkey for wilderness farming as well. Works great, PKs coming in hot still can hit me with an explosion though lol. Only one more day til expansion!
