No matter how much the Americans or other western countries criticise the idea of living together, they always love to see their family together and spending time with grandkids when they grow old. ❤
I don’t think most Americans criticize the families living together…it’s just the opposite…most wish their families lived much closer. My adult daughters all live within a 45 min ride…we all go to the same church, I see them all the time. It will be harder as the grandkids get older tho…college and families later. But I know my daughters will do all they can to take care of me and my husband as we get older…just like we will as my mom gets older. She’s 85 and doing great rn. But when she doesn’t, we will take care of her💕
@@rhondadavis1483 thanks for telling ❤ otherwise social media and some podcasts from highly influential people portray the US in negative light or atleast they think it is cool while sharing that and we find it weird, and negative 😅
@@rhondadavis1483 I meeeean we kinda do. We shame adults for still living at home 🤷🏾♀️ that’s not “normal” in our society. I get your point too though.
@@Boogs.310 oh well yeah I hadn’t thought about your point about ppl living at home with their parents. I was thinking about elderly relatives living with us. But I agree with you that that really isn’t “normal” UNLESS there are special considerations like the child maybe has health or mental health/developmental issues OR they are trying to finish college and keep their expenses low, saving up to get married…something like that. I was thinking about elderly parents for the most part when I wrote my comment. If a kid is able to work and that sort of thing, I think it can be(although not always the case) enabling them, in an unhealthy way, if they stay under the parents roof for too long. It’s almost like they are being babied, and in the long run, that doesn’t help kids become adults. Parents won’t be around forever to help them. I think it’s fine for “short-term” if kids have hit a rough patch…after my divorce I had 3 little kids and I stayed with my parents until I could get a job, reliable transportation(dad even helped me there), and eventually they helped me with housing(initially. But I was going back to nursing school so I could stand on my own, and they helped me tremendously. In turn, I helped my oldest daughter when she chose to go to Cali to college for a year(we lived on the east coast). I helped with her rent and food and transportation. Also my twins stayed with me until one got married and the other went away to college. They both lived at home and went to community college to save expenses. Then the one got married, her husband supported her thru her last two years(he had already graduated), and the other went away to Bible college her for her last two years. Even tho it was really hard on me(terrible empty nest!) I knew in the long run, they needed and were ready to get on their own. To this day, they do not ask us for anything and they BLESS us all the time! Also we let my step daughter and her husband and three kids live with us for 6 months when they were moving here from another state…until they were able to get on their feet. So I def think short term is much healthier. But there are exceptions! But as far as my mom, yep we would keep her at our home in order for her to not have to go to a facility….unless we were not able to bc of health reasons, but I know my kids and my brother would step up in that case. I totally get your point as well, so I wanted to clarify.❤️
Although it's not a huge party, all his daughters were there to show their love & respect for him. What a sweet gift of love, and I know he was truly happy & blessed to have them there. 🥰🙏
I just turned 17 in 1985 when I became a father to my baby girl. Bout to be 56 and my baby will be 38, and not a day goes by with out me hearing "Daddy". Once a Daddies girl always a Daddies girl , and that means the world to us 😉👍
What melted my heart the most are those two little girls hugging their grandfather filled with happy tears.. To me, that says their mothers have always talked so greatly about him when he's not around as well..
If he ever needs elder care they will treat him like a king EVERY DAY! You can tell a good Dad not by what he's done but by what's done for him. God bless him! 🙏🙏!
Kids remember, your parents love you. So give them that time of day, that chance to see you. It's not a burden, not a nuisance. It is a blessing to be together.
I'm an only child too. This made me sad but hope you two get to spend really good time together until the end. He will forever be in your heart and give you strength. Always❤
After my mother had her third girl and her father had been anticipating a boy, he said to my dad that you must be so disappointed. My dad said no now have more girls to take care of me. I was so close to him that I ended up staying with him till the end. He died too early at 69!

He must be the great dad to these girls. Look at his expressions. I miss my Dad😢
Not you alone me too.😂😂
As a mother and grandmother having all your kids together and your grandchildren together means so much! I’d be crying too 😢
His joy is so pure. He had be tearing up. What a wonderful man.
The “Thank you Lord” was just it for me, shows how much they mean to him❤
Man has done his job properly.
He loved his children.
I wish ALL parents felt this way. Could you imagine such a planet full of so much love?
My dad hasn't spoken to me in 20 years. This is so heartwarming to see. 🤍
Must be nice ❤
Amen 🙏
💯💯💯💯
@@VioletJoy Nothing stopping YOU from speaking to him.
Ladies, that was wonderful to come and let your Dad see you together, while he was still alive here in earth! God bless you to continue to be a blessing to your Dad.
"You're all together" took him back when they were all together before they flew the nest😢 and seeing them and proclaiming, 'Thank You Lord" confirms how much he's been praying for thier wellbeing all these years. Only a parent can relate😊
As children we have no idea how much we are loved by our parents. Even after we have children of our own.
The lucky ones anyway.
He’s seen those girls through every step of life… I can’t imagine the pride he feels
This was so beautiful! The love he has for his girls is undeniable! Made me miss my daddy instantly
:( and the icing on the cake was him thanking the Lord !
You can tell he's a good dad and loves them to death!
@@PraveenKJ. ❤️
My girls, my girls! Has me in tears. What a loving father.❤
Why am I crying? Cause I cannot think of what I wouldn't give to hug my Dad one more time.
Me, too!
Sending you both hugs & love. Sorry for your loss. 💕
I'm crying too and I'm 54yrs old😪😪
😢 He is always present within you. Hug yourself and you can imagine you are hugging him tightly ❤❤❤

I just turned 17 in 1985 when I became a father to my baby girl. Bout to be 56 and my baby will be 38, and not a day goes by with out me hearing "Daddy". Once a Daddies girl always a Daddies girl , and that means the world to us 😉👍
Thank you for taking that task seriously ,wish I had had a dad like that! ( I was blessed with a great mom though)
“Thank you Lord”❤ …… that’s a sweet dad, amen. ❤
Definitely proud to be a girl dad! That surprise was awesome and the best gift he could have hoped for!!!
Dads are so critical. I never had a Dad,
Can’t stop crying ❤

@@dubious6718 thats crazy
You can see that they are truly a Christian family .
It is an awesome moment. He is thanking the Lord. What a lovely dad he is!
That truly is a nice surprise.
You can tell he has been an awesome dad. Beautiful I love it
A very loved man right there! This is a man who values his family ❤️
This family just gave us a glimpse of heaven.
What melted my heart the most are those two little girls hugging their grandfather filled with happy tears.. To me, that says their mothers have always talked so greatly about him when he's not around as well..
I wished children realized what priceless treasure they are to their parents! His heart was filled with so much joy! That was awesome! ❤️❤️
Unfortunately, not all parents. Sad but true 😢
Doesn't get any better than that. What a wonderful surprise. Happy retirement Dad.
“My girls, my girls”. I needed to hear that.
This made my day! I'm an only child and my dad is my world. He's been very sick and won't be here much longer so this is beautiful to me!
I’m sure your making precious memories now. Sadly we are not here forever, enjoy you time as a family, that’s all that matters!
😢😢😢❤❤❤
Very sorry to hear that. I wish you both so much peace and love during this transition.❤
I'm an only child too. This made me sad but hope you two get to spend really good time together until the end. He will forever be in your heart and give you strength. Always❤
I am certainly happy that you have celebrated your father. Please make sure you go to the grieving process.
Those women are what that man sacrificed his life for. That's a true father❤
Having a dad must be a good feeling.
There is no love like that between the father and his daughter
After my mother had her third girl and her father had been anticipating a boy, he said to my dad that you must be so disappointed. My dad said no now have more girls to take care of me. I was so close to him that I ended up staying with him till the end. He died too early at 69!
He sounds like a good and very blessed man.
That's what love looks like , Amen 🙏🏿❤️
No matter how old the children are, they may not be together, but the heart of the parents always beats for them.
What A unspeakable gift of good fortune and love!!!
It's a blessing of a gift for me to just see as well!! 💯💋✌🏽❤️
Not all of us are this lucky! 🍀
Having all your grown children together in one place is hard and seldom if they live far apart. This is a gift of a lifetime ❤
You just know he's an awesome dad for all of them to do that ❤.
