- MY PHILIPPINES GOLF LIFE? Well, I haven't really played that many rounds here... but whenever I have the opportunity, I certainly am so happy to be back out on the course!
One thing I have rarely shown, is my connection with sports! I grew up in Canada playing a lot of sports! From volleyball to soccer to swimming to golf! Yup, I even worked at a golf course in Canada when I was in my teens! Anyways, this video is just a raw look at some things I have been up to. It starts in Manila at the Venice Grand Canal Mall... I finished some meetings and took a quick walk through this place that gives a few "Italy vibes" to the big city. From Manila, we head south to Biñan Laguna, where I meet up with my friend Kuya Steve who had invited me to a Biñan Lions Golf Tournament. It was a great experience playing!!
But before that... I also check out the new Esplanade along Laguna Bay! I really love the views back to Manila, and how this place is coming together!
My Philippines golf life doesn't happen often, but I am grateful when it does!

I was shocked to finally see you swing a golf club. If and when you ever decide to get a day job being a golf instructor is something you should consider. After retiring I went to work for a course as a starter for the perk of free golf and range time and it REALLY improved my game, was a lot of fun and a great way for me to make new friends. I’d taught other things and would have loved to become an instructor but the path through the PGA was too long and expensive to make it worth the trouble and it was, all things considered better to be a retired gentleman golfer. Hmmm… on second thought forget about making it a job and just call the wife at work every day from the course to tell her you love her ❤

Back in Canada my father-in-law was an avid golfer. On more then one occasion he shot under his age. But he died at 100 years old and was still golfing. That kind of explains it.

Videos make the Venice Grand Canal Mall look bigger. When I was in the Philippines, we went there for Gondola ride. But the line was too long, so we didn't go through with it. God bless you Kyle for showing the beauty of the Philippines. Take care!

I did! I used to play all the time as a junior golfer in canada... many courses right nearby my home and school :)
Laguna has access to and fro ManiLa.
By the way, mY grandfather is from Santa Rosa Laguna, where Enchanted Kingdom is Located.
Filipino and English are the "official" languages used in the Philippines but Filipino is the "national" language of the Philippines!😊
Laguna lake is clearer during our times way back before 90's and more and bigger fisher were caught,now fishes are smaller and few how i love to turn back the times
I keep meaning to play here but when the hazards on the course aren't bunkers but crocodiles it makes me wonder whether I'll bother...

Out of the 16 business districts in M.Manila Alabang is my favorite. It will become bigger than BGC with the development in Daang Hari. Dasmarinas is the most progressive town or city in Cavite aside from Tagaytay.
Therine should learn to golf. I feel like it could serve as a great way to promote her social enterprise and get support from those who have the means to provide financial backing on some of her bigger projects. Plus, it would give you two another thing that you can do together.

It's very different seeing you dressed in your golf attire. Good that you're able to make a respectable showing on the golf course, since you don't play so much any more. I'm not a golfer (used to live right next to a golf course in Hawaii and have plenty here in my hometown), but that's the first time I saw the circle marking the hole. Is that something that's common only in the Philippines, or have you seen that elsewhere?🏌♂⛳
