First smash were we can play ryu vs terry outside of an capcom vs snk game, and others like having megaman,pacman and others in the same damn game. Then injustice 2 where we have ninja turtles vs hellboy and now this game with all these cool characters as well. All during the same console generation as well.

Fun fact: Peter Weller never wore the full suit when doing driving/car scenes. The suit was too bulky and made it extremely uncomfortable to be in sitting down.
He also couldn’t wear the bottom half when going up or down stairs so they filmed him from the middle up and added shots of the costumes feet hitting the ground in order to make it seem like he had the whole thing
Same with Anthony Daniels and the Alpha 5 actresses on Power Rangers.
I love how all the other characters have these crazy intense entrances with lightning and teleportation and shit while robocop just steps out of his police car all nonchalant. I love it.

For some reason hearing, Peter Weller's Robocop interacting with Keith David's Spawn got me emotional. Two icons are in the same game and its awesome.
It's a legit shame we couldn't get Arnold's actual voice, otherwise mk11 would have gone down in history
And that one intro of them talking about souls? Fucking brilliant.
I'm just sad they didn't fit in a reference to The Dark Knight Returns in his Joker intros. They had Weller who VOICED BATMAN, and missed the chance. Like...

The way the characters interact with each other really makes me want NRS to make a Marvel fighting game.
I like how they take characters and link them together, like how Spawn knows Alex Murphy, Terminator’s intros feature Johnny Cage merchandise in the place of roses or a normal motorcycle, the Alien in MKX was born from a Tarkatan, etc. They really take the guest characters and make them their own.

Off tangent but Fujin sounds like such a good and wholesome person. He stands out like a sore thumb amidst the cast of morally gray to downright evil characters.

Nothing beats the original voice

All non-Netherrealm characters in this game (save for the Terminator) got their roles reprised by the original actors. They also got four of the MK movie's actors to reprise their roles too.
I legit can just watch an entire movie of Robocop just stepping out of his car saying clever puns. I would hold my pee in for a 3 hr movie of this.
There is something so moving about the way he moves and delivers his lines. If this is Peter Weller like in the movies, it shows how he's absolutely perfect for the role of Robocop.
There is somehow this perfect mix of confidence, courage, resolve, and sadness that every movement and vocal intonation delivers. Truly, both Weller and the Robocop character he played are American icons and legends.
That police car is the MVP.

As someone who knows Robocop but not Mortal Kombat at all, these seem really well done! They actually made it feel somewhat reasonable that he's showing up in all these bizarre places with just a few lines of dialogue. His voice sounds great too.
