@@samsunggalaxynote777 the uk can look pretty but they made it very bland and mostly the same Greenland, where as Australia had diverse areas.
Horizon 4 could have been the game that has lots of cities, compared to other countries the UK is very small, they could have focused a lot on street racing, alas... I enjoyed horizon 4 but I'm so glad to be getting a new vibrant map

I miss horizon 3 so much, but horizon 5 gives me the old horizon 3 vibes when i saw the trailer and gameplay
The big upgrade for me is the new volumetric lighting system, Before it was just light shaft occlusion. Looks more realistic sure but looks much worse.
I just realised that there are huge parallels between FH and GTA.
GTA SA (FH3): sunny, exotic
GTA 4 (FH4): colder, more urban
GTA 5 (FH5): sunny, exotic and kinda resembling GTA SA (FH3)
And on top of all of that, both, Rockstar Games and Playground Games share not only similar names but are also both british studios (Scotland and England).
More urban is always better :/ reason why fh5 regardless the graphics looks like shit, because of the chosen locations.
@@user-cg7tn2gs5d i agre and disagree with you. FH3 and FH5 are perfect for hypercars, fast cars in general, off-roading but it's boring for normal cars or hatchbacks for example. If you prefer relaxed and realistic city driving and drifts, then FH2 and FH4 still exist. 😅

Maybe there's a shop or an online shop that sells used games and if not than maybe ebay could get you somewhere. I have much luck because i could've bought it either from ebay or a company that sells used and refurbished consoles, games, electronic etc.) that's where i bought most of my games. I'm too broke to buy game for full or half of their original price 😅

Los Forza se adaptan para todo tipo de gusto. Sería muy tonto crear todo un mapa sólo para complacer a cierto público. Llega un punto en que puro drift aburre o almenos para mí :/

I rember when I used to play fh3 it was poor optimized but my mind was blown.. then I played fh4 which 😶 with better optimization .. now waiting for fh5 ❤️
FH5 graphics look nice, but when you compare it with FH3, you can say how much the previous-gen Xbox one is holding back Series S|X! honestly, FH5 just has a few new fancy eye candies, like more polygons(photogrammetry), ray tracing, sharper texture & wider draw distance & extended shadow distance, 60+ fps! when the game releases the side-by-side comparison between FH5 Xbox One & Xbox S|X will be very very similar & disappointing, deff not Built from the ground up for S|X! we'll see the real diff with FH6, when they finally ditch XB1!

@@mrrglass3407 yes I did hear those words, graphics is just not all about resolution, its about assests & other aspects too, you can play FH3 & 4 with 8K, it will only end up looking sharper. watch the video from 5:46, you can see how similar they look, expect for the color tonality. The only thing I see new with FH5 are polygon bumps, draw distance, its too early to comment on other things, ill reserve my judment for the release date.

Games this gen have always focused on making things that are right infront of the camera look good, while neglecting the draw distance and for me that's what they've pushed here the most, as the draw distance and just the overall foliage density in some of these scenes is absolutely insane and so much better than what we've seen in FH3 or FH4

Yes, the difference is visible 😀. FH3 still look good but it's a huge hole between these two
Volumetric lighting in the mayan forest in 5 makes the location look more lifelike. Now granted, if you were to pause at just the right time, the 12k skyboxes in 5 do indeed look more realistic than 3s skyboxes and reflective surfaces, geometric details, soft/hard shadows look that much crisper due to lod increases in 5. Car sounds are a bit too muffled in 5 though, so it's the only win I'll give to horizon 3. I doubt you'd be seeing skyboxes and geometry with all that motion going on in the game though. I know I wouldn't, i never sit idle in a racing game, it kills the mood for me. Playground did put some impressive work by the looks of things, consider this an early look at fable's graphics!!!
Problem is that this video is comparing Xbox to PC graphics since the new Forza footage didn't say running on Series X hardware.
The new Forza footage has been stated more than once to be running on the Xbox Series X.
Can anyone say diminishing returns? I can! The improvements are there, but it's nothing mind blowing. Bring me full on destructible environments with real-life vegetation. I want to make rocks move and see houses get destroyed with real physics. This is just higher quality lighting and assets that uses more storage and yet provided nothing extra to pull itself away from being a game. I love how games today completely ignore the physics of the game world vs reality. I don't need photo-realistic quality if the game world responds like a game!
I'm shocked and applauded that people forget about the physics of the game world. It's still, for the most part, a static world you're playing in and you call that NEXT-GEN!
Yeah, it *looks* amazing, but... I would prefer more realism in terms of the physics. Like, driving through the jungle should be way harder. Rocks and undergrowth would mess your vehicle up and seriously affect handling. Roads would actually be rough and damage your car. Everything in this game is way too smooth and arcade-like. Massive respect for the graphics improvements, but without the additional physics realism, it's all surface gloss.

I think that in terms of cars graphics we hit the top. If they make a game in 10 years or will not be much better than this, it is just already near-realistic look. By playing FH5 and taking cars shots you can easily miss out with a real picture.
Environment is very detailed too but there is more room for improvement.
And what I have observed during the years of gaming, human models are mostly the farest feom real looking part of the game and that is also visible here

Both look great! Playgroud is a great team and the new consoles. Push those old games and make them better. FH5 is technically better, but from were I am sitting, its a win win. Couldnt go wrong with either.
Wow. You can really see that FH5 is running in 60fps and FH3 is 30fps. FH3 looks juddery in this comparison. FH5 so smooth. Not to mention all the other massive upgrades to visuals. FH5 is unbelievable. Best visuals Ive seen. And its 60fps here. Remarkable.

@@blazesmooth5573 um no. Forza Horizon 3 is 30fps. The fact the video is in 60fps doesn't make the FH3 footage 60. The point I was making is you can see the difference between the 2 games that one is natively running in 60fps and the other is 30fps. Confirming FH5 footage we have seen for Series X is the 4K 60fps mode. Not the 4K 30fps quality mode.
The FH3 footage is noticeably jerkier.
@@selnor1983 again, they both have 60fps capabilities, I play fh3 at a smooth 120fps on my pc, thr footage here may be 30fps. But that doesn't mean fh3 doesn't have 60fps
@@blazesmooth5573 they aren't comparing the PC version. They are comparing the Xbox One version of FH3 to Series X FH5. The Xbox One version of FH3 only has 30fps. FH4 has an optional 60fps mode on Xbox One X. Its clear the FH3 footage is from the Xbox version. Hence the juddery framerate on FH3 in comparison to FH5 in this very video.

They have ray traced reflections and the reflections are much sharper. Watch the gameplay overview to see the improvements.
The geometric detail in FH5 is greatly improved.
it is a big differnce in basically every aspect: lighting, geometrie detail, texture, refelection, especially the vegetation, on the surface of the leaves one can see a big difference, but FH3 is still extremely good looking and even better than some games that are being released in 2020 and 2021
Ye i agree, i'm still playing fh3. In my opinion fh3 is just better than 4. And fh5 is looking like fh3 w better textures and much more. so yeah, definitely gonna buy
@@niconiemi3655 yeah same, I prefer 3 a lot because of the variety of the landscape and actually I also prefer the handling a bit, but the main point is that I find fh4's landscape a bit boring cause it is all just green hills and some forests and little villages, but 3 got jungle, coast, desert, a modern city, and grasslands and forests and with the dlc it also got a snowmap...

But yeah newest isn't always the best. I just give respect those peoples who still plays fh3 and even fh2 or smth. Like only thing i liked about 4 was drifting, but it got boring too bcs my steeringwheel broke and map got boring after exploring it. It won’t matter if Forza Horizon 5 has better graphics if they don’t put in hardly any championships like FH4. FH3 had 63 championships, FH4 had ZERO championships except for the seasonal one. Hope FH5 fixes that.

Forza is very childish over hyped game series. There are more flaws in addition to those listed in this video. Shame on developers. Why the hell software/OS/game/app developers are this dumb and stupid and not fixing the bugs or implement mandatory basic features??? Just why? It's always the general public who are identifying bugs and requesting features. Why don't devs implement in the first place? The world around me feels childish. Or they intentionally agitating us? They want us to beg, beg for fixes, beg for features, beg for customization. They want us to suffer.
Water splashes doesn't look real, it looks like smoke comes out of water, and gravity is not pulling the splashes down as in real life, the splashes are acting slow motion nonsense. Looks like developers changed the number 4 to 5. We can identify NFS games by just looking at the visuals, but FH 3, 4 and 5 look same. FH failed to give us a different experience. New feel and vibe matters the most.

Rally physic feels good enough already since FH4, maybe no need to buy rally games anymore unless hardcore players, look like all included in FH5 (rally, offroad, drift, grip) but I hope they include motorsport-like circuit in the openworld map.
Also fh3 is only playable in 30fps fh5 has an Option for 60fps or 30 then with better graphics

The initial showing of FH5 was running at 60fps which makes me feel it was running on high-end PC. Every video post that has been 30fps running on Series X. Man, I can't go back to 30fps after play FH4 on Series X. Good thing there is a 60fps mode, just don't know at what cost to graphics.
The cost is almost certainly ray tracing. I don’t think the other graphical features will be that demanding. I’m a PC gamer, but I think the series X can handle it. Eventually, if they don’t already, they’ll use FSR and have some other tricks to improve the frame rate even more.
Yes it does look better obviously but thing that worries me the most is that the cars sound more authentic in Horizon 3 partucularly the Huracan 😕

I think the huge difference that you are expecting can be achieved through fov. For racing games usually the fov is and the camera is a bit far off than close to the game assets that's why it gives you the feel that they are almost the same but there quite a lot of big changes to the assets and resolution as well as textures and lighting. And overall these small changes do reflect highly overall. What important for me to see if if they have changed engine sounds, put more detail into the cars like Gran tourismo does and added more population to the map which would make it stand out even more.

I tried to find a digital copy of FH3 but couldn't find it anywhere. Then when I tried to install the pirated version, my Windows 10 recognized it as a virus 😩

I think FH5 looks great, but so did FH3. FH5 would probably be able to look even better if they had opted for outright visual fidelity. From what I understood the game is 4K and 60 fps though, where as FH3 is 30 fps. That fluidity makes a huge difference in a driving game if you ask me. I played FH4 in 1080p60 on the One X and to now be able to play it in 4K60 on the Series X is amazing. I'd much rather take the upgrade to 60 fps than play in 30 fps and have it look like a movie. For those occasions we have photo mode.
