Nice game from Levon he must’ve felt confident at that point no waiting to play e5 going right into it with the Queen sack he did get good position and 8 points of material in the process I felt Grigoriy still had chances had he played differently it was Levon in control calling the shots in this game Much Thanks Agadmator
Glad you covered this game, it my eye on the official live stream and I thought to myself "aha, I see the obvious 'pause the video' moment here"...and I was wrong XD
Another way to play this losing endgame is for white to give up the queen for both rooks after R3f2+ (10:08). The black king is in time to stop the white pawn, and the white king can't capture black's pawns.
Yeah probably the best game of this years US open, for me. Thank you Levon. Thank you Grigoriy. PS: I am just happy I saw the e pawn push early, as soon as Levon switched up the queen to whites quenside. And then sacrifice the queen. Wow! And after that, I saw the forced checkmate, but I would have been too impatient and grabbed the rook. Cause really if my opponent did not fall for the chemate trap, and instead let the king drop to the 1 rank, sacrificing the rook, i would be nervous as black. For any other amateurs here, we can do better by playing out our games, i have lost so many games, not being able to find a checkmate in time.
@@UnknownUser-j3n that's why I thanked Grigoriy. Levon is easy to beat. But at the same time, if you give him room, he does "paint like a magician" and is reserved as well, in his way.
You should do another one of the women's game apart from Irina V Carissa. Ask the viewers which one they thought was the best of the US tournament besides this meeting of Irina and Carissa.
Probably dense but not seeing a clear win when Levon offers two rooks for queen at 10:07 which would have left white king a square nearer its pawn and two against one race
I'm sure Carissa saw the video and was inspired to get the Bobby Fisher price. Then, the pressure was too high. She might have lost or draw the last game if it's not happening earlier than that. Congratulations though that she won. Maybe it would be nice to see another game of hers to celebrate her #suggestions But who am I to ask if you're already uploading three videos in one day. Hehe. Thank you for that
Yes, but Antonio's explanation was incorrect here. If Rb1, then Black plays Nf3. White King is completely immobilized, and Rg1 will be checkmate. White can give one spite check on the 8th Rank, and that's it.
Ok, that's crazy, covering people's brilliant games won't jinx them, please don't use that as an excuse to not cover other impressive streaks , especially from the women section of other tournaments.!! Carissa did great, you definitely should've covered her games long before the round 8, it's really weird saying stuff like that.
1:11 The camera's comedic timing is top tier
it's sentient.
Very very large over sized mallet hammer head
Agadmator: I have finally figured out how to stop the camera from making erratic movements!
Camera: b4!!
Agad= "sorry about that"
me all these years= "about what exactly?"
No matter what you do Antonio, that camera is going places dude, I'm telling you
No erratic movements. Camera moves lmao. You're so great Antonio
"I have fixed the camera" is the new "sorry about that" :D
The camera is a comedic genius though, its timing is hilarious.
…as they say in the Jurassic Park - Life finds a way… so does your camera Antonio ;)
You just have to accept that there are higher forces in charge 😄
Brilliant sacrifice in Praggnanandhaa vs Tabatabaei to stop Pragg's streak. Wonderful game. #suggestion
Levon is one of the greats! Great player and seems like an interesting and calm individual. Cool guy
My favorite chess personality besides Alireza. Two chill dudes!
This is the Levon we come here for. Nice game.
the slightly wiggling camera is perfect
11:53: Ah, the Queen is surrounded by five black pieces. This scene is quite familiar

no more sorry about that
Sorry about that 😅
My two favorite Agadtisms are sorry about that and whenever he makes jokes about playing b4
@liljackypaper and ofcourse "your uncle would play". 😅
what is he sorry about ?@@abdullahsaidgul8005
What's happened with the mailman?
Glad you covered this game, it my eye on the official live stream and I thought to myself "aha, I see the obvious 'pause the video' moment here"...and I was wrong XD
"Be the artist, not the butcher."
Somewhere in St. Louis, a certain 17-year-old is furiously taking notes.
Good game, in Levon sharp style!
#suggestion. Arjun Erigaisi crossed 2800. Please cover the game
Same comment 😅

In order to jinx someone, you must pratice witchcraft.
Will you do a top 10 game of the years rundown at the end of the year? Not too detailed, just overviews with links to your full length videos.
If levon is in the right mood nd mindset he's one of those who should be representing humanity against aliens
good to know that the camera is now in check, waiting for its move
Banger tactics
Could you do the Nodirbek vs Parham game ?

White really didnt put up much of a fight. For this game to be considered the best.

Interesting how as soon as white deviated from the standard lines, black played a prophylactic h6 move. Sort of cashing in on a free move.
every time i see a levon game, i’m reminded that the legend of johannes zukertort lives on.

#Suggestion Arjun's 2800 game.
Queen is helpless here. Nice that you showed how.
The camera loves some of us. Others it stalks.

Amin Tabatabai vs Pragg
Euro chess club 2024
Thx
Aronian is particularly good with his rooks.
#suggestion please change camera settings back to what it was
Too late - he's already detached my retinas.
Very educational on how to play with 2 rooks against a queen
#suggestion Amin tabatabaei VS pragnandha in European chess club. Amazing sacrifices by Amin

The artist, the clown and one of everyone's favorites!
Tks for the game

Classic Levon
8:26 Why didn't he play Rh1 to grab the rook on the A file?
Agadmator curse of showing games and then they loosing afterward…😂
At 10:10, why not give up the queen for two rooks and try to push the c pawn?
Kg7 allows Black king to get within the square of the c3 pawn. Meanwhile White king cannot prevent both of the connected passed pawn to promote.
At 6:07, why can't white play KxR, then BxQ, BxB with even material?
8:40 the rook looks defended to me 😂
Yes, but Antonio's explanation was incorrect here. If Rb1, then Black plays Nf3. White King is completely immobilized, and Rg1 will be checkmate. White can give one spite check on the 8th Rank, and that's it.
Levon goat
Looks like the Eastern Europe Open
Forgive my ignorance, by why isn't Hikaru not in this tournament?
The Bay Harbor one though
Aronian is the bay harbour artist?
Bring back medo 😢
I'm a mediocre artist but I'm an awesome butcher.
Nodirbek vs. Maghsoodhloo #suggestion
Camera gambit DECLINED😢
Levon is a better version of Dutch GM Jan Timman. Great in tactics and in the opening but better in positional understanding.
Another frying game!
Arjun just crossed 2800
If you think you are the butcher in the game, think about that the opponent could be the undertaker.
#suggestion Arjun crosses 2800
Hey agad
#Arjun2800 🎉
Hey Agad! How's it going mate? Hope you are doing well.
Very balanced overview l. As an American I can’t stand us blindly sending material and funds over to Ukraine. I support more of a European approach
If my heart and mind agree with me losing, i resign. Blud thought he was gone win cause he had the queen.

Ya better we dont request him to do something that he doesn't like to do.
💯 th comment
Early bird
Third comment yay!
No bronze for you.
Free Palestine ❤❤❤❤❤
Grigory Operin sounds like a 17th century Russian villain 😂😂
