That was a very special video about a difficult subject Gareth. I was drawn to it because of the title. I too have lately problems to “turn on the light”. I have lost so many people the last 10 yrs, 2 times I spent with someone I loved their last day .And then sometimes, it gets the better of me. But, as they say, life goes on, for most of us. You keep surprising me Gareth! Thank you for this video.
If it was my last day...I'd whistle a hearty tune...get a bottle of rum and buy a top of the range sex robot...then I'd get the robot drunk and talk to it about the 97 lions tour.....imagine the vicar at my funeral explaining that lol
I am not very good at understanding people but looking back I think even in his good times Gareth was telling us he has suicidal tendencies. It’s so sad, I was sure he had so many happy times ahead of him but I guess he couldn’t see it in the end, or he couldn’t take any more of the depression he was suffering with. His life was short but big. Rest in Peace.
@@johannrugby3811 I’m assuming suicide but I could be wrong. A very close friend of mine drank himself to death. Technically not suicide but it amounts to the same thing pretty much. I have lost family members and friends to suicide. This seems like suicide to me but it could have been natural causes.
@@johannrugby3811 it is a terrible thing. I hope she’s ok now. My father attempted suicide but luckily was unsuccessful. He’s no longer alive but I am glad we got those extra years that were nearly lost.
This is why I'm thankful for salvation in Jesus Christ. No matter how good/bad my life is on earth, the only thing I can take with me when I die is salvation. This life is very short - eternity is very long. Live for eternity, not this life.
Feeling to be stuck for ever in the darkest of dog days, I only now understand why I subscribed to your (then tiny tiny) channel almost a year ago (and why I can't help but deeply admire the Bokke, haha). Thanks for sharing, for following and turning up your own light and being a light to people such as me. I should never give up indeed.
gareth ive overlooked your dwarfism, i see you as a passionate rugby fan who speaks highly of the all blacks which i like and you speak well. i think people that mock you about your size are very insecure people to start off with.
