I hate to say this but being bullied helped me fight my adversity, being rediculed pushed me to become more focused and stronger, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger..
Great vid. I remember in my middle school years where people bully me because I don’t talk much. Back than I didn’t know that I was a introvert because no one thought me. My school pretty much favored extroverts which frustrates me because they tend to cause trouble and attention while rare introverts like me doesn’t. I’m also in the Autistic Spectrum, sadly in the internet, Autism is used as a offense which is just frustrating to deal with, just because you’re autistic doesn’t mean they are dumb. In fact they are some autistic people that are way smarter than a “normal” person. Some teachers usually scream at me to make eye contact but no Matter the amount of times saying that I can’t, they don’t stop. I was so hated to the point I got suspended for “going to the girl’s bathroom” when I was just going to the bathroom. No one looked at the cameras for proof and typical boomer mom fashion, she blames me over the teachers almost every single time. My brother usually bully’s me but I never get help. I’ve gone to the point of suicide. Of course I don’t get help because whenever they are suicidal they find it as just “overreacting” and when people actually commit suicide it’s like that they play the role of actually “caring” when it’s more of attention seeking. The worst part is that it’s in America and they’re system is so dated and bad. So many school shootings happened in recent years. They just think they are bad but in reality they are most likely suicidal. Thank god I finally got help from RUclipsrs of how to be calm and not suicidal. Few years later after my depression and I’m fine, I’m still recovering but I’m getting better. You know it’s sad when the internet does a better job at helping more than school does. Hope we can make a better future for less racism, making fun of deformed/ Dwarf people, and less stupid reasons not to help. Thanks for standing up and making this vid. It may not be rugby but it’s helpful.
Adding onto your comment at 3:20, even IF there is no bullying on the school grounds (which like you, I find hard to believe), cyber-bullying is a very real thing that we need to be thinking about as well, considering the role social media plays in young people's lives.
When I read the story of Quaden Bayles today...I tried my best not to cry but I just couldn't hold it in....it's one of the saddest things I've seen in my life. Really glad you've done a video on this. Was wondering maybe if we could do a fundraiser for him and his Mom - maybe get them a little holiday or something...
Great message, and an important one! The Internet Age and social media has empowered bullies everywhere, even older folk who should know better. It's everywhere. Everyone should stand up against it, and help those who are victims of it.
bullying doesn't stop when you leave school . there are plenty of bullies in the workplace. some are your coworkers but most might be your managers or your boss . you end up feeling so afraid and hopeless . Much love and respect to you brother
Gareth....you truly are a giant of a guy. I grew up in England and went to state school. We had no money as a family and I was bullied mercilessly. I thought it was normal!!!!. Sport gave me a way to compete at a fair level. But also showed me there are people out there like you my friend. My respect to you for raising this subject.
my wife went through this but it was at her job she had a breakdown .she left eventually but very paranoid meeting people any where, if she feels uneasy around people we leave and go home
It all boils down to mutual respect because we are all in it together. And as always say be good to people at school and in college because you never know who will be your boss when you go for a job. That happened to me an agency treated me with disrespect even though I was an expert in my field. A year later I was working and the agency rang wanting some business. Well, I gave them a lecture I can tell you. Hahaha. Gareth your totally correct.

I use no building materials and I use no weapons I am A anti-anti-bullyer just like you I've been playing fortnite for a year and a half and in every single one of my games I spray a rainbow my motto is (never ever give up) I have written many anti-bullying songs to go over the emojis in fortnite my famous one is (friends at the top bullies at the bottom they don't know how to love cos they've all forgotten so love your mum and your dad and say goodbye to the bullies you just too sad 321 the bullies can kiss my bum)
On top of the fact that bullying is wrong I think people should also be thought on how to deal with bullying. Bullies won't go away soon but if parents can talk to their kids and friends support against bullying it can make the worlds difference.

I heard on Sky News today of a 14 year old Boy who committed suicide in 2018. They spoke to his Father that is a Pastor. I am lead to believe that the U.K. are either pleading to have a law against bullying passed soon or that the U.K. Government are giving it serious thought.
