I made these little trading card sized paintings to add to the first few farm animal sticker pack orders when I post those. Im still working on the last video for that series but I finally picked which charity I want to donate to which I'm really happy about. I'd be interested in knowing if you would like another vlog style video (including the chicken speedpaint) for that or just a little speed paint of the chicken portrait with a voice over. Im open to both options so just let me know if you have preference. I've also been working on collecting all of the questions you guys asked for the Q&A so feel free to leave more here if you like, I think I have something like 10 questions so far.
Thank you so much for sharing! I have so many issues painting in small sizes. I love to make huge paintings and had no idea how other artists are painting portraits that fit in a 8" x 10". All my small works are usually on colored pencils and dry media. This is a great video!
Omg I love the bold highlights you so - also the pops of colour are incredible. You absolutely have a knack for colour 😍 but yeah I'd like to see a Q&A! My question would be, was there ever a time where you shied away from using such vivid colours? And if so, how did you break into it/start using them so well? Like, I'm sure practice was involved, but what sparked it? Thanks, love your stuff!
Thank you so much! I've never considered myself very good with color so that really means a lot to me! And thank you so much for your question I'll be sure to include it in the Q&A :D
Question for the q and a : what made you decide you were going to be an artist/illustrator ? Was there one moment in particular that made you decide? Ps, I love you’re art!
Could watch this all day! Im trying to learn gouache better and i get a lot from your videos. Can u consider doing something small in real time to help those of us wanting to learn and improve? So inspiring!
Yes! One of the videos on my list is another really long detailed painting process video, this time for gouache. For now though I do have a video called "Tips for using gouache" which has tips and some real time painting. ❤️
I have been working with gouache and the most challengine is building up color without disturbing fist layers. I fine that sometimes it starts to get muddy as I try to blend.
question for the Q&A I’m 16 and not sure how to put myself and my art out there. I’m not on many social platforms and a bit nervous to put my art out on a RUclips channel. I’ve been getting into making a website because I do have quite a few pieces I’ve made recently and in the past. Could you give some advice or tips on how to get out there and start a channel or help people notice my art on any other platforms, so I could get in touch with anyone who could possibly help me start my dream career before I graduate next year? PS THIS WAS BEAUTIFUL I LOVE YOUR WORK AND CREATIVITY(((((:
So I’ve got an interesting question, do you keep your arteza gouache in a palette or do you use from tubes? I tried putting mine into half pans just for the sake of adding them to one of my travel palettes to see how they do and they did not do well 😂😂 I can’t believe the details you get on such small painting ugh!!! So amazing 💖💖💖
Christian John Garganera that looks like plain old masking tape. I know there is actual artist tape thats like masking tape and won’t damage the paper when you peel it off though!
Wow i just wanna grab my gouaches and paint non-stop by seeing your gorgeous art😍😍😍 My question is how do you hold your gouaches in your tray? I tried once with i think the same tray and they cracked horribly D:
