Oh yeah Falcon is great but because he got buffed during quarentine he's still getting underrated by some people, this happens a lot though once he plays like Fatality or NickC his opinion will definitely change. Also gunner doesn't have 1 upclose option, she has: -fair, good for walling -nair, big hitbox with lowish lag -utilt, f5, disjointed, kills -ftilt, f7, disjointed -one of the biggest frame 6 grabs in ult But yeah you're right brawler > gunner and falcon >> gunner

Every weakness you described for Steve is literally incorrect how did you even manage to pull that off. His disadvantage is one of the best in the game. There's almost infinite possibilitys for recovery routes and getting down thanks to blocks, and the only real limiter is his low jumps. He's also not that much of a combo food character because hes pretty small and light. Hes tied with Wolf, Lucario and Villager for weight, and yeah he stays upright the whole time but hes also pretty skinny. Lastly sbair and sfair are broken oos options and usmash is very fast too and kills at around 100 which is amazing. Steves only true weaknesses are his bad movement stats (which he has ways of mitigating) and the fact that he has to manage his resources, which can be hard but is doable. Manage those 2 weaknesses and you have a unique character who you can play however you want with near infinite possibilities. Soon people are going to realize this character is the real deal.

I dont understand how Falcon at least isn't here or higher, the character got game changing buffs that gave him a better comboing raptor boost, his recovery got better, he has a command grab, and there were so many optimizations like IDJ tokyo drift, no impact landing, ledge slip which allows you to 2 frame with knee, 2 frames with dair, attack cancel combos etc. sure does he have a bad turnaround yes but so many things have been improved that it's more manageable, Even Fatality has been performing more consistently now and NickC will too when he gets offline back. No hate this is just my criticism but it legitimately feels like you guys haven't actually kept up with the Falcon meta and you just think he's mid tier because of that.
I hate fighting Falcon 😂 but I cannot deny that he is actually a really good character. I’m surprised as well. Maybe it’s a lack of representation? The only Falcon player I’m aware of is Fatality (I got into smash less than a year ago, excuse my ignorance 😂)
Luigi is a combo character. Just slap out up airs and Uptilts out of shield, chain them into your other aerials, and spam grab to start the process again

Also, about the up air thing, even if you miss the up air and they airdodge, up air is way less laggy than an airdodge, you can literally punish the opponent for airdodging (so a frame trap basically, i'm pretty sure some chars like fox or jr after up b won't be punished, but again it's a frame trap that leads to a ton of damage on 90 % of the cast). Plus, even without that, he still has 3 really strong kill throws, especially bthrow and upthrow, that alone doesn't make it an "extremely poor" grab game

I do agree that his grab game is decent I just don’t see d-throw as a combo throw if it only combos at 0%. Maybe they said that because of the grab itself (the start-up kinda sucks for how much range it has and the reduced endlag doesn’t really help when it’s still that punishable).

He has more problems than his kill-power on up-b. Jab, n-air, d-air and up-b are inconsistent. n-air has no range, the first 3 hits don’t cover his whole body, it can’t kill or combo at mid to high% and it is frame 10 which is really slow for a move that has no range. He for some reason has a sourspot on the hexagon of his b-air that does nothing. His sourspots are really weak and will only kill at like 170% from the ledge. And lucas’ up-smash is literally the worst up-smash in the game.
Okay, I wanna stop you right there on the Lucas part. 1. PK Fire is not a neutral tool. His neutral tools are Zair, Fair and FTilt 2. Lucas aerials (at least the majority) are actually pretty safe on shield. Fair is (-3 on shield), Zair is (-2 on shield), UAir is (-3 on shield), PK Freeze (if fully charged, -5 on shield), PSI Magnet (+0 on shield) and FTilt is (-10 on shield) but this his best move because if spaced, he can't get punished. There is a small group of fighters who can punish Lucas FTilt spaced properly but that's not many. He's one of the safest characters in the game. 3. His grab being *poor* when he can combo by dragging you across the stage with DJCZ and even has 3 kill throws. Sure his only grab combo is DThrow > Fair but that's only like a 0% but being *poor* is kinda doing it. 4. His projectiles are actually rewarding. It takes one mistake + The Lucas pulling it right with his advantage state moves like Freeze and Fire can be genuinely rewarded on hit and so as his disjointed aerials. Most of Lucas' moves are pretty rewarding on hit. 5. Being "worse than Ness" is what many people think and that's understandable but there are many people who play Ness more than Lucas (and even less labber for Lucas than Ness) but being "worse" is kinda strech. Each of the 2 PSI users have different strengths and weaknesses with different playstyles.
I had a match against a Rosalina. I killed like 8 or 9 lumas in the process taking away my opponent's "walling out" options. I still lost the match, but it was a great way to exploit Rosalina's weaknesses taking away hey one strength! I was playing Little Mac, lol!

Lucas is not just a worse Ness! While Lucas is more geared towards defensive play and that may come as an overall negative due to the offensive nature of ultimate, that doesn't mean his toolkit is any worse. In fact, they are 50/50 when you compare move by move. While Ness has a better Side-B than Lucas, Lucas has a better Neutral-B than Ness. Ness has a god-like back throw, and Lucas has a better up throw. Ness has a better Up Air and Neutral Air (combos), while Lucas has a better Back Air and Down Air (spikes). For killing, Ness has Forward Smash, while Lucas has Down Smash. They also have different match-up spreads since Ness dominates on stage, while Lucas is amazing at edgeguarding. Give my man Lucas some respect!

Lucas is not just a worse Ness! While Lucas is more geared towards defensive play and that may come as an overall negative due to the offensive nature of ultimate, that doesn't mean his toolkit is any worse. In fact, they are 50/50 when you compare move by move. While Ness has a better Side-B than Lucas, Lucas has a better Neutral-B than Ness. Ness has a god-like back throw, and Lucas has a better up throw. Ness has a better Up Air and Neutral Air (combos), while Lucas has a better Back Air and Down Air (spikes). For killing, Ness has Forward Smash, while Lucas has Down Smash. They also have different match-up spreads since Ness dominates on stage, while Lucas is amazing at edgeguarding. Give my man Lucas some respect!

@@issysito320 you can do combos that can kill after the down throw, such as f air, jab, f air across stage and then spike twice or if you have diamonds you could do the same but finish it with a f smash.
