When i see this series i constantly ask: were the town get its resources? how they get food? or medicine? who is producing there? the glass of the medicines, the clothing, the plastic of the bags, the metal on the uniforms.. that constantly drives me away

Lot of great things to this series, but one minor detail that bothered me a lot was how the people adventuring out of the town wore bullet proof vests. Bullet proof vests are meant to protect against..."bullets". A wild animal or "abby" would almost surely ignore the vest and go straight for the neck. I know this won't bother most people, but as someone who likes to study military history this really bothers me because soldiers would immediately ask the question of why am I wearing pounds of body armor.

It would make more sense to have that metal chain stuff people wear diving with sharks. It's nowhere near as heavy and while it won't prevent you being crushed, it prevents penetration which means that biting and slashing would be ineffective. And it covers everything but the face.

You can reload shells with gun powder and a specialized press. Idk if they'd be able to make the type of gunpowder needed for those bullets tho, because they wouldn't be using black powder.
@@sambeck2510 they are using modern version of gunpowder which modern firearms and bullets can't use back the easier to produce black powder era stuff... in fact they need to mine the stuff using water pumps into the deposits and then let the deposits surface as liquid then evaporate the liquid then gather the powder to mix with nitrate rich ash to have the modern day gunpowder.... its not the same as the black powder from feces with 1 year period wait time for it to ferment with some other stuff like sulphur and burnt wood ash.... if its about reusing the shell, i know about that since my dad always reuse his old shells and as for the bullet he also does a recasting of the bullet head since he doesn't trust the supply source he buys his stuff from as their gunpowder is never consistently filled so he also does the weighing of it as well before every competition he participates in.... so yea this makes production of these ammo almost impossible within their compound since its too small and again their factories and supplies got blown up... the most they could do is make home made guns with black powder as propellant instead which is doable in their compound.... its easy to do and requires only metal pipes if you want a reusable ones... pellets for these types of fire arms are easy to produce as well and you don't need modern day rifling in the barrel.... since you would most likely use them in a shotgun pellet style kinda way... i think they made a documentary of indonesian farmers making these home made guns and the dangers of these guns blowing up when shooting with them.... and how its their only method of protecting themselves and their crops....

I am more upset this series was dropped with no third season.
