Thank you very much for your HARD WORK, I am very happy about your explanation. I learn English-German together. God bless you so much and PLEASE MORE VIDEOS. 👏👏👏👏
Thanks for your videos, they are great and easy to understand. I'm working my way through your videos for the A1.1😊. I'm hoping I could sit the Goethe A1 exam from completing your on-line videos?
Servus Ich möchte dich was fragen. Ich habe gesehen im Wörterbuch Zum Beispiel, _jmd.legt etw. irgendwohin_ oder _jmd. stellt etw. irgendwohin_ The word *irgendwohin*,which means *somewhere* indicates that I can use Wechselpräpositionen mit Akkusativ ? Ich freue mich auf deine Antwort.Bis später. LG
The word “irgendwo” is a great word! It means “somewhere” where there’s no movement (where you would expect the dative in a prepositional phrase with a Wechselpräposition), but you need to add the “hin” to make it include movement. It’s the same as the difference between “wo” and “wohin” (see my video on hin and her). Hope that helps!
@@mugridgelanguage Hmm so, for example, I looked *stellen* in the dictionary and saw that _jmd. stellt etw. irgendwohin_ That means there's a movement(-wohin) because of that I must use *Wechselpräpositionen mit Akkusativ.* On the other hand, I looked also *stehen* and saw _jmd./etw. steht irgendwo_ Hence there's no movement(-wo) but location, I must use *Wechselpräpositionen mit Dativ* Do you think I understand correctly?
I've learn more in a morning of watching your videos than in 6 weeks of German classes
Glad they’ve been helpful for you in your learning!
