Keep things speedy by sticking to accelerated plugins: Add an adjustment layer, set to Lighten, RGB Curves (under Obsolete) and black out all the channels except Red, add Gaussian blur and voila. Your footage will play and render much faster now.
Never tried it that way but might try it out some other time and see how it performs!! 👏
Well, this works well! (at least for my amateur videos)
Thanks a bunch!
hey @Emergency Russell i'm french and i don't find how to black out all the channel except red, can you explain me in DM please ?
What do you mean by black out all channels?
@@itsjustmerce Make the blue and green channels invisible in rgb curves.
Excellent tip, Danny! Thank you for sharing!
🤍
Great tutorial!
Thank you!

Very helpful. Thank you
🤍🙏
awesome video - subbed!
Appreciate it Dan! 🙏
yeah just use an adjustment layer
Some of the pictures are from Copenhagen - Nyhavn and Grundvigs church! Thanks for the tutorial! :)
Greeting from Copenhagen
Indeed! One of my fav places to go to! :) Glad you liked the video!
Great tutorial bro!
Thanks!
you're a god for those who can't have DR
It’s free of cost bro also you can get lot of option like advance color grading and ultra hd export options for free.
Amanzing video bro!
Psd: Is there any way to create a Cineprint16 look with premier pro? And if it can you show us how to plsssss
Glad you like the video! The Cineprint16 would be tricky to replicate since you need nodes to create those details. I wish PP could have that kind of workflow haha!
Luma key then add blur
thank bro
Glad you like the video!
what is stopping you from going to davinci resolve? I feel like you would love it.
stable, and amazing color grading. Plus you have film emulation and halation in there
Oh boy I would do it in a heartbeat. The only thing that I dont like about davinci is the way how file managing is setup. In PP I can create files in a folder and organise it how I want. Davinci does it in a "database" - for my workflow it gets too messy. Unless you there is a way?! If there is please let me know and I will get that setup ASAP haha!
Resolve is TRASH for editing, mixing audio, and making effects... anyone who doesn't know that isn't a real editor; or at least isn't working on anything even remotely professional. resolve is good for color grading, that's it
@@YoungNino2017 It used to be like that, it is better now though. Premiere is still superior for cutting/editing
Because I dont wanna throw After Effects with Dynamic linking overboard for Halation.
any possible to make the colour white instead of red>?
yes for sure
I kept waiting for him to tell the solution to the problem, but he just kept repeating that sometimes it doesn't look good :')
Because you can get perfect halation with PP. You can get a DIY version of it. Use Resolve instead. So much better.
"chanel blur" What is the name of this efect in Spanish? Thanks
desenfoque de canal bro
why only red halation?
usually it is red but you can choose whatever you want. I dont do this anymore since I am not on PP anymore. I use Resolve now, I just use the Halation plugin. So much better and easier to use.
@@DannyFeng yeah, i know that resolve had that effect, until now pp doesn't have halation effect?
@@hermasadrianfttf9986 pp doest no
Ezra Cohen.
This is definitely not haliation.
👌
Looks like chromatic abbreviations.
Claims "cinematic" look but uses vertical video examples, lol.
Whats wrong with vertical vids?
@@DannyFeng Nothing, unless someone is trying to claim the shot is "cinematic". Or unless the viewer wants to see more than just a sliver down the center of the screen.
@@TommyJonesProductions what is cinematic?
@@DannyFeng - It means appropriate for viewing in a cinema. What cinemas have vertical screens?
Seriously, I get that the vertical video fad grew out of amateurs being ignorant of how recording on phones works, and is now ubiquitous on social media, but that is no reason to pretend that it is "cinematic".
