I got my fair share of 18V Bosch stuff which only increased as I was tied into their battery ecosystem, only wear item to date has been an entry level 10mm chuck that had too much runout, and a n early GWS grinder hence the post. Unusually the rear bearing in the motor goes, and I suspect others that use this motor will too.
Bought one of these 2 years ago power switch has packed in along with drill of same make think I'll be buying my tools else where as their not fit for purpose.
In eight years of DIY, NOT TRADE, I have had to sell as spares or repairs the following Bosch "professional" 18v tools -Drill purchased used as gears went -SDS drill purchased used as gears went -Drill purchased new as it locked up completely -Battery charger just stopped working but was never left on for ages when not in use and now my five year old grinder seems to have a faulty switch after having sat unused for a month or two. Now in a difficult situation as have circular saw, jigsaw, a drill and two impact drivers left but cannot see how my next 18v kit can be Bosch!
Rarely got used and purchased because I already had the batteries with a combi drill and impact driver. Electronic module failed. Quoted£97. already replaced the switch (my mistake) no point throwing good money after bad. Bosch tools are no longer up to professional use, not the first time I have had to replace a blue bosch, pad sander, drill charger, and jigsaw all failed. Will stick with makita from now on.
I got mine in 2011, still going strong. Made in Germany

Makita is the same I think, same problems . Buy the brushless version, less loud and much better build
They're not even up to DIY use in my experience, see my reply on David's comment above if you want a bit of schadenfreude!
Brushless?
