Great write-up. I was replacing the thermostat, coolant and hose's. After making sure the bolts of the thermostat could loosen I decided if it ant broke don't fix it. But good to know if I need to change.
That wire was a nightmare that's y it was a jump cut in the video because it took me 5mins. To remove it myself but I used a skinny and small flathead screwdriver to help me
@@byron7918 I bet. I wish I was brave enough but off to the shop she goes, never one problem with this one. I love my little blessing of a car….. My sister gave it to me, still just so pretty… ty for ur video didn’t miss a lick…
Dude, I want to see the knuckle-busting effort it took you to get that part out. Your video shows the part in, than quickly switches to the part being removed. ruclips.net/video/2EEPTbYnKWo/видео.html
Probably the best, to the point, video I've found on this topic. Thanks.
No problem glad i can help
I love the honesty about cussing and swearing 😂

You can literally push it with your finger.
Does the wire have locking pull tab or does it just pull off?
Actually I removed it without disconnecting the wire. I used a 10mm deep socket@@byron7918
Check that. I must have removed a water pump bolt. That wire needs to come out
You did real good..thanks for the info.fixin to go use this video to change mine

when you put the gasket on did you use any RTV silicone?
it comes with a gasket, and i used rtv gasket maker as well because the gasket that comes with it keeps falling off
@@byron7918 thank you!
How did u get to the bottom bolt
1/4 ratchet with long 10mm
How did you take the connector off?
Small flathead screwdriver and 5mins. Of cussing u might have to spray it down with wd-40
Make it as hard as possible Nissan
Be prepared to get your hands scratched and cut up
What size was the 3 bolts
I can't remember but they r either 10mm or 8mm bolts
10mm@@byron7918

What tool did you use to remove the bolts
Quarter inch socket ratchet and swivel
Put some gasket sealer on the gasket and stick it to the housing so you don't have to fight with it too.
Thanks for video..good job.
Thanks a lot for this video, dude. Short and to the point. Did you bleed the coolant system afterwards?
On video i did not, off video yes i did
Why would you need to bleed the system? @@byron7918
Ce presio tiene
Thanks you my brother

This video does not show the removal aspect of the thermostat. Isn't that the purpose of the video?
Thank you
