It was also Piper's shift from being scared out of her wits over babies to Piper being mother material. I love the moment where they were going to go back to the house to regroup before Piper heard Tyler's cry for help and she blew the gate off its hinges with her sisters muttering she bacame a mother lifting a car off her baby.
I feel like Holly was constantly underrated and everyone just focused on Alyssa and Rose, but imo Holly was the most emotional captivating. She could make me cry on the drop of a dime and will forever be my all time favorite Charmed One ❤

This is honestly one of my favorite episodes for Piper. She was always my favorite of the sisters. I just love how she became such a badass after Prue died.
Well Prue was always strong for three of them, so now it was Piper's time to step up and be strong. The loss of a family member can change someone significantly, and sometimes empower them to become a stronger person to protect those around them that remain. It also forces you to become more independent due to that other person no longer being there to care care of you. Part of life :)

One of my favorite and most underrated episodes in the charmed universe: this was also a very transformative episode, It showcased the character development /transition from Piper in the beginning of series to who she was becoming as a witch. First two seasons she was very timid, always scared and paranoid, not confident in her powers and ability. I heard this phrase used in real life. It calmed the child down. It did make a difference when the adults stay calm and verbalize that it's ok to a panicking child.
Piper was the one that struggled the most with her powers and being a witch. She finally got comfortable in her own skin and saw that this kid needed guidance and understanding 💖
Saying “now that’s cool” after freezing time around the fire and not when she blew up the vase really showed that not all kids think explosions are the absolute coolest thing. I mean explosions are cool, but freezing time and have it be limited to specific bubbles is way cooler
It actually made so much sense for him to like that power better. He's struggled with having a destructive power. Seeing her destructive power let him know he wasn't alone, but seeing her have a power that literally stops destruction, freezing it outright...for him that was a cool power that didn't cause harm. Probably made him wonder if maybe he could have a second power that didn't have to cause harm too.

One of their greatest flaws is not immediately reacting when a sibling is acting strangely, you would think by the 3rd possession/transformation/spell gone wrong they would have immediate plans or safewords or tests for when a sibling starts acting weird. But the story must go on
You would think that with all the times they've transformed into things or been possessed that they would immediately recognize when one of them is being affected by magic

Never really though of it back when I 1sy watched the series but her power is basically energy manipulation. She can either halt every single molecule in a given area (the freeze power) or make them violently move away from a spot (her explore power).
This kid could've been one Piper and Leo's from the future after Wyatt Chris and that daughter they had at the end of season 8 but I did love Holly's acting in this episode it was amazing.

In the comics Tyler gets his powers back and it’s revealed he’s actually an Archai. Relatively the same but this endangered creature can conjure firey portals. Allowing ppl to go anywhere in the universe. Eg. Demons to heaven, places good can’t go, livings to the afterlife and back. Etc. etc. He’s even in a gay relation with a male black witch who shoots sonic waves from his hands.

Charmed is definitely a classic! I loved watching it when I was younger, and I even bought all the DVDs when they were relevant then. So, if I can't find the series through streaming, all I can do now is whip out an old DVD player or the PlayStation and look at the episodes that I want to.

This episode proved what a good mother she would make in later episodes. Go Piper! P.S. Years earlier Samantha and Darrin Stephens had two magical children and never once thought of binding their powers, which Samantha could have easily done. But even naysayer Darrin didn't ask his wife to do such a thing. They taught their children to use and control their powers as they grew into them.
This episode was hilarious. This is one my favorite TV series of all time. I think I've watched the full run around 50-60 times. It's the sisterly bond that does it for me. Through all their battles between each other and their difference, they always came back to each other, as sisters.They had such a great run.

Honestly, comparing the loss of powers to losing a limb or cutting off his arm is very accurate. Although people don't know this, even the ones that say their powers are a part of them. Truly to fail to understand just how correct they are. It is quite literally a part of them the cliche. He loses his powers and has to get his powers. Arc only works because their powers were never truly gone. Their powers were always a part of them, so whatever they do to get their powers back just kind of jump starts their dormant abilities. They're always there somewhere
Love how in the same scene, Piper tells him that powers aren't good or bad. Then the sisters crucify Cole later for amassing powers to get out of the wasteland.
