I love this one so much! There are a couple times when I thought Dan was going to whip that ponytail right off of his head! The aggression! Dan does Sabaton's "Smoking Snakes" also. On Minniva's channel they do "Night Witches" and "Ghost Division." Hope the bug doesn't get you down.
What I love most about your Dan reviews, Viking, is that you always pick up on (and love) the same things in the performance that I do. It can be anything from a glance to a stance to a vocal happenstance, you get them all.

Recently, I heard "the man" characterize himself as an "interpreter" of music rather than an entertainer. I felt a puzzle piece slide into place in my quest to understand this enigmatic, charismatic and unique artist. To me, this explains his ability to produce covers true to the originals, yet, he can still make an old standard his own. A creative artist he is in spades.
As we move past the, soon to be, 1 mil milestone, I am excited to witness the direction he will take us. I missed out on the early days. Not going to miss this next chapter.

To the best of my knowledge, Dan has done 2 other Sabaton covers. He did "Coat of Arms" 12 years ago (!!!) under his full name "Daniel Vasconcelos" and it's on his channel. He also did a collaberation 5 years ago with Minniva, (along with Garrett Peters and Quentin Cornet) on the song "Night Witches". I know it's on Minniva's channel, but I'm not sure if he uploaded it to his channel as well. The Coat of Arms video is just a constant picture of (what I believe is) the Coat of Arms album cover and we don't see Dan at all (boo!) but he did an excellent job, as usual! It's almost extra "gritty" if you like that side of Dan, as much as Viking does. The Night Witches cover is much like his more recent collabs with other artists, so we're able to feast our eyes upon the "Beautiful Brilliant Brazilian" that is Dan Vasc!! LOL I haven't seen any other Sabaton covers by Dan, but there could certainly be more that I'm not aware of... yet! I'm always checking for anything new!

I believe I heard Dan saying once that although he loves Sabaton and their songs, it is very hard to him to sing in such a low tone and this song had to be recorded in the morning when his voice was more "low" and that's why he has so few covers of them.
I heard this first before I knew about Sabaton - I now envy your having seen them live!

Dan said, on b his stream,that he will only drop a new song when he feels like. He pretty much gave it up. He said he doesn't need to do it anymore. He is happy with his success. Its too had, he has talent. He also talked about his physical performances and how hard it is to keep feeling emotions with every take. I know a lot of people will miss him. He still B had his fame Channel and is a guest on some other channels. Good luck Dan.
I believe he meant he now doesn't have to do it as a "job", an obligation. Now he does it more spaced but he's able to put more of himself, more art, more skill and is able to chose songs that mean more to himself. We have to respect it even if we miss so much listening to new songs, because we know each new one is a work of art.

He isn't the humble nice young man down the street. I guess actually doing the work is obsolete. I know, all you tubers do it to their audiences. And I think these older grannies should know better, but a scam is a scam, whether it's Dan or anyone else. Do you think his granny fans are living the life he is? I see poor old lonely grandmothers hoping to buy attention and a man without a conscious. I still wish him well. His girlfriend said he is studying politics.
